I'm not sure it is possible to judge an entire product run based on just one example but you do seem to have had your share of problems. Good luck with your new vehicle.
Undo all the glass retaining strip screws on the inside of the door, remove strips, remove glass, clean out old sealant. To replace run a good size bead of sealant around the door frame where the glass fits, locate glass, run another bead of sealant around the inside of the glass where the retaining strips fit, replace retaining strips and screws, clean off surplus sealant - job done
Impossible to tell by looking at pics - you need to grab the yolks and check for play and signs of damage / bearing break-up. Check the propshaft securing nuts for tightness and the sliding joint splines too.
I've seen a couple of car panels (outer wing and bumper) on Ebay I could use but the guy wants £40 postage per panel which is a bit OTT. Anyone up that way fancy picking them up for me if I win them? What are the chances of sorting a forum relay down south?
Before replacing and after a good clean up I usually smear a small amount of copperslip around the hub where it contacts the drum and also on the wheel studs too.
