    Had a chat with my main dealers today and they reckon orders placed now will be delivered late August early September.

    We shop at Waitrose but the stuff gets delivered in a white refrigerated van driven by a nice lady called Jackie.

    Good luck, with all the trim strip screws it's a fiddly job rather than complicated. Welcome to the forum

    Undo all the glass retaining strip screws on the inside of the door, remove strips, remove glass, clean out old sealant. To replace run a good size bead of sealant around the door frame where the glass fits, locate glass, run another bead of sealant around the inside of the glass where the retaining strips fit, replace retaining strips and screws, clean off surplus sealant - job done

    Impossible to tell by looking at pics - you need to grab the yolks and check for play and signs of damage / bearing break-up. Check the propshaft securing nuts for tightness and the sliding joint splines too.

    This all sounds a bit promising Auctions don't finish until the 22nd, I've e-mailed the seller and am waiting to hear back.

    I've seen a couple of car panels (outer wing and bumper) on Ebay I could use but the guy wants £40 postage per panel which is a bit OTT. Anyone up that way fancy picking them up for me if I win them? What are the chances of sorting a forum relay down south?

    I agree with that, in fact I usually use a weighted rubber, plastic or other soft faced mallet to whack them with.

    Before replacing and after a good clean up I usually smear a small amount of copperslip around the hub where it contacts the drum and also on the wheel studs too.

    I remembered the programme about 20 mins after it had started so turned over for a looksee, 2 mins later I gave up and turned it off. Nuff said.
