  1. There is one, I'll check who and post up who when I get home if no one else does. Richard
  2. LRE did a test on these this month. They seemed just as good as the simex on my 90, but not sure how good the compound is with regard to life expectancy. For example the silverstone version is good but apparently wears out faster as it is a softer compound which allows the tyre to flex more. Richard
  3. I got my list through this morning. Who are you looking for? Richard
  4. Found it: Nice pic inside, a big double page one of my two 90's together. Richard
  5. They are good. I have not been with anyone else though. Be prepared for early starts though as like many Morocco trips I looked at you have a lot of ground to cover to get to the best bits. We did the March/April trip in a disco 2 with a roof tent and enjoyed it. A trip my wife and I still have fond memories of. Richard
  6. Hi Dave Didn't early D2's have recall over brakes? My 99 one I had a couple of years ago had work done to the brakes while in for a service, but they never told me it was done. Richard
  7. As per the title. LRE billing issue. My portal 90. Sorry, just couldn't keep it in. Richard
  8. One more pleb taken care of. If only the tree huggers were as easy.....
  9. I just thought he was trying to get his money back and save two years depreciation! Its bizarre how anyone can claim fault with the general abilities of a car after driving it for two years. Richard
  10. Cool, I am supposed to be a marshall on the off road course this year so I will be there for the whole weekend. I am bringing the portal 90 as well. Richard PS. Sorry for the thread hijack.
  11. Out of interest, how much heavier than a standard 90 axle is that? Also are you doing the 303 discs yet? Richard
  12. I second (or third) Billing. Great show Richard
  13. Are you doing the HGV or PSV one? I did my PSV one a few years ago due to running a passenger transport company. You can do home study but it takes a while. I did a 6 day intensive course, with the exams the week after. Then it just takes 8 weeks to see if you have passed. If you want any info PM me and I'll reply with the company details I did it through. They do both HGV and PSV as well as other stuff like dangerous loads. They are based in Thurrock though. Richard
  14. Very good. I like the little skip the guy makes to get out of the way!
  15. The main time the box sticking out was a problem was when I did this: Due the the nice soft mud the car was undamaged. Except the snorkle pushed the wing in. But if you don't do anything silly they are fine. Richard
  16. Is there a colour coding option to match the rollcage?
  17. I would second this. My 300TDi 90 has a safari snorkle and a safety devices cage. We used a 200 series wing panel (with no intake vent) so there was no blanked off hole after we moved the snorkle forwards. Also we had to trim the leading edge of the snorkle slightly as it fouled the drivers wheel arch spat. Plus as Steve said above, on top of this it sticks out and if you get close to a tree or turn it over on the drivers side the whole wing gets pushed in by the snorkle box on the wing. I am definately going for an inboard snorkle on the next one..... Richard
  18. Thats right, a coach with loads of people on board is allowed to run balder tyres than a car. I was suprised when I did my CPC in passenger transport, but there are lots of strange rules in most forms of goverment legislation as we all know. Richard
  19. Hi Will I got one a year or so ago for about £45 as I like to keep a spare for the red 90. I need to set up a pair of snorkles for the orange 90 now, so if they are reasonable I'd get a couple of tops. For the grills I will get lazer cut metal ones and spray them black. I find the standard ones very flimsy. Cheers Richard
  20. If you have access to some complete tops can you PM a price, or put it on here. PM is easier to reply to as I get email notification, I don't have to sift through the OT posts. Thanks Richard
  21. In answer to the origional question, I could do with a spare. Have you found a more reasonable priced replacement? Safari Snorkle ones are not cheap. Cheers Richard
  22. Well It won't stop us 110 SW users. 9 seats or more are exempt. (if registered and seating capacity on V5)
  23. Thats correct, I had a moment and could not seem to get on the .co.uk site so I sent $50 instead of £25. Richard
  24. Hi Nick You have some good pictures of Dominic and Lee on your Xtreme Landy Site. Richard
  25. Petergg runs the site. Send him a PM, or I'm sure he will be along shortly. Richard
