I went for new calipers and stainless pistons using the as unused seals. my thought were to start rust free and hopefully stay the same inside the calipers

Volts Divided by coil resistance in ohms, should give you current !
Eg
12.8v Divided by 0.5 Ohm = 2Amps
Plus a bit of current inrush when it energised
"and listen for any clinking or mettalic noise"
What's that a symptom of ?. mine did that the very first couple of times I put it into park after building it all up and running it through the gears, never happened again....can I expect doom and gloom lol

Did you try replacing the "nipple" on the cable adjuster to box lever, mine was really wobbly on the pin, changed it and the selecter was much more precise !
Well no...err sort of......
The A frame Ball joint connects to the axle, the other end of the A frame goes to the chassis, but it is located in the centre under the tub floor !
Its could be these bushes ??
