  1. ipod 2.5mm jack to a phono, which then go in to the amp, then speakers off the amp,, dont see why that wouldnt work,
  2. I tried welding a Nut on, and it didnt work , i resulted in smacking a socket over it and welding the socket on, worked a treat,
  3. When i sprayed my 90`s bonnet matt black, i gave it a light sand, primered it, then did the top coat of matt black, i took the bonnet off also

  5. my 90 has got a chequer plate floor panel once its wet, gets really slippy, suppose you could try it can always take it off
  6. should easy see 3k with tax and test, i have seen 19j engines go for 2k

When i weighed a disco rear door in, i didnt want it to break because i had aloud of other scrap in the back of the 90, it took a 3foot piece of uni strut smacking it, it took a fair few attempts then all off a sudden smashed, my mate had a freelander and he used to have all sorts in the back tapping agaisnt it and 2 sheep dogs jumping up at it, never broke.

  9. Can you not just change the plugs on the end of the old fuel / temp gauge and plug them in to the td5 gauges, i know that the temp gauge goes through the speedo, and ive got the the plugs that plug in to the speedo?
  10. I Know a mate that had spacers on his hilux,, coming back from wales on a corner, one of his front wheels when flying in front of him, to say the least he said he had brown pants!!
  11. rear axles are interchangable, its just the fronts that have wide and narrow hockey sticks

Adrian flux made me laught, me mum rang them to get a quote for my dads 90, Started the list of mods. by saying it has a galvanised chassis, to the reply i got is that a shortend body? also they didnt understand chequre plate on front wings and bonnet.. Lancaster ended up been the best quote for it

I bought a 200tdi with about 140ish miles was a L reg for £450 also bought a 200tdi k reg with 190ish miles on for £550, had to travel for the cheaper one, both were rot boxes, but engines and axles were good. Discoverys with tax and test go for £800 upwards.. spares and repairs are alot cheaper
  14. i had some that came with a disco i bought, (spares box) and they felt really hard , at the moment i have got floflex ones one (got them from paddocks) they seem alright, fitted alright, ride was ok but was running old tired springs and shocks.
  15. The last set of alloy wheels i removed from a disco didnt have covers, and i used a 27mm socket

  18. Fill it up with water using a measuring jug, remember what it used then empty it, then refill it with antifreeze/water
  19. Flux wouldnt quote me and im 24 got 3points cu30 , landrover 90 , 1989, 200tdi disco conversion, rock sliders,and rear disc axle, and its now a truckcab, was a hardtop..

  22. on mine its got straight through middle section n rear standard silence n sounds nice not 2 loud but stil hear the turbo whistle
