  1. The BW works well, but is prone to chain stretch and the VC locking up. I had chain stretch on my 300TDi RRC, and didn't bother with a new BW, just fitted an LT230. I noticed the road manners changed quite a bit, especially in the snow, but you get used to it. I think an LT230 with ATB would be the best of both worlds, but the Classic isn't driving at the moment, so no use spending money on that and finding out. Other than the output being on the other side and the high/low mechanism being operated by an electric motor, the P38 BW is identical to the RRC one. Not sure how much longer mine will last in the P38, but definitely researching options to adapt an LT230 (I think it's possible to turn it around and drive it through the PTO hole).
  2. Or Romulan, all good if they make things disappear!
  3. See, now the problem with that is the debris it leaves behind. What you need are some good disruptors.
  4. DRLs are half of the damn problem, people think a light is on so it must be ok. I think I almost burned out my high beams and LED bar flashing people with either no lights on, or their fogs still burning holes in my retinas in a queue
  5. Ross, have you become a spider that you see everything as a floor?
  6. On my Classic, I cut it down to only have the holes on top (for fitting a dixon-bate when off-road), then made a drop plate and some arms to extend it lower for trailering.
  7. Not sure about that, they're pretty tiny pins. Looking at the specs, that says 9.5A @ 600V... so for 12V, not quite that much.
  8. Apparently airsoft is illegal in Australia, so it might be a bit difficult for Bill to get his hands on the BBs. Although I seriously question a country where you can buy a shotgun shell, but not a bag of BBs
  9. Maybe the kit contains an improved version of the flange that fixes the cause of the leak?
  10. Pretty sure I linked you the exact type of connector, but ok.
  11. Always heard good things about the Piper Torquemax.
  12. Something like this: http://www.conrad-electronic.co.uk/ce/en/product/747805/Mini-Universal-MATE-N-LOC-plug-casing-for-application-in-crimp-contacts----Nominal-current95-A----N
  13. Nope, the ECU only gets a value from the TPS, not the other way around. Only other thing it controls is the idle valve, which as Fridge said has a much too small hole to rev it that high.
  14. +1. There is nothing that indicates this thing has ever been built, just a whole lot of renderings. I don't think it looks all that bad, but I'm wondering what kind of worthwile powerplant they'll manage to fit in there the wrong way.
  15. I should have those somewhere, not sure how expensive shipping to Aus would be though.
  16. Something like this? http://www.obd2cables.com/products/obdii-equipment/simulators/
  17. Well, that could be the problem too Never heard of them failing before, but everything is possible.
  18. Have a look on lpgforum.co.uk, probably lots of locals about there
  19. Oh, easy then. Older sequential LPG systems lose their setting when the battery voltage is gone for more than 5 minutes or so. Have it reprogrammed (or do it yourself). This'll have messed up your petrol trims, causing it to run badly on petrol too.
