  1. Britpart are very hit and miss, most other makes are decent
  2. why not get X-deflex, would be better all round http://www.x-eng.co.uk/StoreDisplay.asp?SL=73
  3. the tipping over could be down to poor 3 link design causing a high COG. So you want better road handling?
  4. how exactly are the pins getting damaged? are they being broken off?
  5. Well if they are stock springs I doubt you can go any softer without losing ride to much ride hight, think you may have to live with it tbh
  6. Yea as said above...if it's the harsh ride, its either too hard tyres or too hard springs so you could replace the lot with a lower rate. But if its bouncing then new shock, old man emu are one of the best
  7. Might be worth looking at rear steer, would half the effective turning circle! Not sure how that would effect the rules for your class for your club mind you.
  8. I think its called an sva test? Its like a point system, if you change certain bits and it adds up to 15 points I think? Its had to go on a Q plate. I know the engine is a good few points but unsure about chassis!
  9. I think the misconception is the limitation is on the twisting of the bushings, but its this http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/attachments/land-rover/23523d1024122457-holey-bushes-untitled-5.jpg I don't think drilled bushes are a great solution if the vehicle is road going.
  10. the side lights and indicators are a different connector but the main bulbs are the same
  11. I must say I fit a set yellow/red (basically the same as whire/red) on my chopped disco, and they are great, combined with some long travel shocks.. it works great! Thanks again to Jai
  12. Well its a good idea too, you might get away with it, but if they get pulled you'l be a bit fubar!
  13. Yea it should do fine, Terrafirma are a decent lower end bit of kit.
  14. I got a complete braided line for both fronts down the radius and a longer than usual one for the rear so it went down the a frame, rather than risk them getting pulled or caught £101 to my door, even chose what colour and what joints, also put a join in the front ones so it's easier and cheaper to replace if needed
