  1. Ashcroft only have one set of ratios for the ZF 4HP22.
  2. 265s on a 1.2 should easily be pulled by a 200tdi, I think your problem is elsewhere. Are you getting 4 gears plus lockup? Probably around 52-54mph it should drop RPM significantly. Get a boost gauge....
  3. LGT is just £140....
  4. Ah, it is a '90 90, not an 88, wasn't sure only from memory.
  5. Yes, and then subsequently posted up on here by a following owner drowned up to the roof.
  6. TW2 is excellent I have to say -some things I would do differently but then every web dev is a bit 'different'
  7. I have to say I was very suspicious about this also...
  8. Yes, most new arrivals are the likes of Kia, Hyundai and Proton in the 90s -this is most definitely not that.
  9. Spark suppression is a pretty well understood science these days.
  10. This scares me, a lot, can you imagine the court case when your vehicle shuts off in the outside lane of the motorway? By all means do lights, track stuff, do clever sequencing, but keep DIY electronics and software away from the vehicle controls.
  11. MFM is a great channel when he's not trying to sell something, shame he doesn't post that often.
  12. I tend to just use me grips, normally gets it done, but granted no idea on access, so the nut may have been your only option!
  13. I mean why would you have a D5 if you can have a Defender with likely higher residuals?
  14. No they should complete the test, unless unable due to safety or severe malfunction.
  15. If you read that again it could have sounded ever so slightly ungrateful You haven't got a wheel bearing out, have you? Pushing fluid back to master. Have you checked the wiring to the switch? I don't know why that would be an instant failure, either shorted or open it isn't in a fault state, just open or closed. Does the pump run when you switch the ignition on? What if you jumper the connection to the switch.
  16. Are the abs lights on when you first turn the key? Or when moving off? The fluid level change is possibly the bomb, but I don't think it is indicative of the issue being shown by the lights. Have you connected the fluid level sensor? Is it functional?
  17. I have two of these (for cabin and load areas) in LGT, and one used as a reversing light: White Rock Lights, YONEDA 4PODS Aluminum Housing IP68 Waterproof Pure White LED Rock Lights Underglow Fender Lights for Trucks, SUV, ATV, Offroad, Motorcycle : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive I may well add a second as reversing light as I'm often reversing up a dark driveway, but in reality they give good light for all of £4 each. They have curved rubber pads to mount easily to cage tube, and stainless bolts.
  18. With a 2.8 and an auto with the torque converter I suspect it may not be as bad as it could sound.
