  1. i did it to my RRC last year took me about an hour but mine was very big hole
  2. i heard the other day that the south west poilce hired 20 4X4s to help them cope with the cold weather but the powers that be told them thay could not drive them as thay had not been trained to drive them safely. so being hessatent about helping isn't as daft as it should be.
  3. i use a bit of pipe that slips over the rod but the rod just sticks out use the rod to push the clip in then pull the rod off
  4. i use an old 6lt fire extinguisher with a hole drill and a tyre valve fitted, fill it with what ever oil you want then pump it up with the compressor i picked my extinguisher up for a quid at the dump
  5. got the kids back to school on tuesday sent home ofter about an 1" fell not expecting them to go back till next week some time weds were up to 5" still got 3" and more on the way did take the 90 out with out any problems
  6. all club that follow the ALRC rules are but that way we all have standered trucks and it's all down to the driver not the truck
  7. i got the ones from my 90 from brookwells (circled in red) thay came galvanised. don't know about the other one
  8. i've got a sweb bonnet with speare wheel fitted it's very dented were the work men have stood on it

  11. my mot station dose class 4&7 so won't be much of a problem other than i think it costs a bit more
  12. i've got 3 on the heater thay just don't blow anuff
  13. this is some thing that i too have been thinking about as my dads shougun has a fan fitted to it's intercooler so i've been looking out for a fan but there are not many 7"fans about.
  14. the master cylinder off a rrc wont fit a 90 servo i've got a disco master cylinder and servo. but i don't know it can be fitted to a 90 my 90 calipers fitted my 1994 disco axle.
  15. for next time it the Alternator you need to disconect more than the battery but better to do both new Alternator needed as the one you've got it now is nackered
  16. with the ignistion on try taking the stop solenoid wire on and off to see if it clicks or as mobyone sead take the plunger out and see it will run after that.
  17. if your going to take the cover off to look at the belt i'd do it as its off as you'll need new gasgets as well
  18. my disco when i first got it wouldnt goin in to diff lock i fould it was just it had never been used when oil was hot driving i put it in and out it slowly started working
  19. simex copys but if you can use any a mate uses a set of aligators he think there brillant
