I guess you're referring to the Brownchurch ones ?
Most people either love or hate them.
Fuel - yes they cost fuel.
Weight - yes they add weight
But I've had Brownchurch for decades and like them.
A lot.
Can't comment on the other makes.
Many thanks to everybody thinking about this !!
That UK Raid sees me going from Dover, via Somerset, Sheffield and Edinbrugh to Aberdeenshire - and back to Dover...
Think I'll need 3 days in all...
Good Morning !
Sorry for the delay but just back from 4 days on the road.
@Peaklander
Thank you Very Much ! I'll ask the seller if he can live with that. Hope so as I hope eventually this year I will be able to travel to the UK without Quarantine... I'll get back to you.
"..Do you know if the caliper plates can be mounted so the calipers sit higher up ?.."
Hmm......
Not sure, really..
Don't know...
I think the 6 mounting holes are evenly spaced, so I guess one could..
It is a very long time ago since we fitted ours, so I guess we did it like this as per Zeus instructions (perhaps) and / or because the LR brake lines had the perfect length for them to fitted like we did.
Nice !!!!
Shiny bits.
Good luck fitting them.
Please make loads of pictures and esp. the brakepads.
They are a standard pad - just write down the part #
