  1. Looking good ! hope to see it late this year in the metal
  2. To quote somebody : and now, fr something completely different.... Comes with a EU logbook - so legally driveable.... https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=280845019&categories=OffRoad&cn=DE&damageUnrepaired=NO_DAMAGE_UNREPAIRED&gn=74564%2C+Crailsheim%2C+Baden-Württemberg&isSearchRequest=true&ll=49.1411309%2C10.0493208&maxFirstRegistrationDate=1995&maxPrice=25000&pageNumber=16&rd=200&scopeId=C&sfmr=false&sortOption.sortBy=searchNetGrossPrice&sortOption.sortOrder=ASCENDING&searchId=15eecdf5-f98e-d36d-ee3f-6fc154b94f10
  3. Yes - that is a copy. Pivlock (made in UK by a very weird family run company called "Bullivant Engineering") works well. Almost any size can be fitter as long at you have the LR rim. They do wear out the lock mechanism- creating play.
  4. The Pivlock should fit. I'll be selling mine as I am looking for a Mantec one.
  5. We had a ArgoCat 50 Ltrs. tank in the rear of the 88" before the 1st rebuild for - like you - additional fuel and used a Jaguar electric pump to fill the standard under seat one. They fit nicely and make a difference. However, these days we have just 2 cans as we rarely take the 88"on real long trips - also the FR MOT frowns on additional in board tanks...
  6. OK - keep in touch. I may have soon a 2 axle 3 M3 trailer here Mesh sides & covered. French plated and 3rd party insured Depending on when you'd need it I can drop it off while en route to Holland and collect it again the next trip or so. i do have a 250 x 145 flatbed 1 axle here you can use. Things been everywhere and tows really, really well..
  7. You could consider buying a Swedish one ? I did that a few times on collecting stuff a long way away from here but usu. the trailer is not what it was cracked up to be. How big a trailer do you need ?
  8. Wore a Kilt 43 years ago at a wedding in Moffat. 32 Kilts 1 Scotsman 😁
  9. Not sure about UK. Here (France) we spoke to the house assurance co. and they accept pictures etc. of what we have and use on our property. Insured for theft / fire / etc. Talk to your insurance company I'd say...
  10. Going to be interesting to see what the final thing really looks like. And....... How much it costs. ...not to mention if the thing will be sold outside your island....
  11. I'd cut out a bit from the bench.... Been there...
  12. Blasting cabinets need a huge amount of air - thus a bl..dy big compressor Esp. if you'd like some big(gish) stuff to play with Back in Holland, we had a 2000 ltrs (no typo) one one 3 phase and it did the job well. But it did love electricity....
  13. Seller replied "No problem - roof is not going anywhere" For now, all we can do is...... ...wait
  14. Thank you. I mailed the seller of the roof - awaiting reply - so we'll see what he says.
  15. Good Morning, I'm not sure if they 100 % complete ( eg. I know for sure that in my printed ones include also a winch mount for the WARN 8274...) There are various "Optional Equipment Catalogues" around. Below some of the ones I have. (please note I do not own etc. these manuals...) 2020-06-05 = LR Series II + IIA Optional Equipment Catalogue.pdf 2020-06-05 = LR Series III Optional Equipment Catalogue.pdf
  16. I bought a 180 € crimping tool when I moved to France and knew I'd rebuild & rewire 3 LR's at least. Glad I did. Good quality terminals help, too...
