  1. I'd love to do things like that here..... Not happening though. .. back to the trains
  2. I find LandyPoint has most of the stuff I need. Don't have a D2 so really can't say anything on that - sorry Can't comment on the dealer as I don't know where / who / etc. but is can be somewhat different from the UK.
  3. Why not call Landypoint and ask forDrew (+33 (0) 5 17 20 03 27) as he speaks English ? Most parts in stock for normal prices and next day delivery to you in France through DPD.
  4. My new brakepads arrive today : At £ 22 + VAT worth putting a few on the shelf
  5. Thank You !! Not too worried about the looks as most of the gutter is behind the roll cage anyway. Did you chissel the old stuff out ?
  6. Cover could be from anywhere.. Have a look and try to find out the history etc. Obviously, we love pics.. There are a few ways to fit a 200 Tdi in a Series and not all are the same so look at that very closely - and how the gearbox is..
  7. I can not comment on the Heystee kit. As you may have noticed we have the TIC parabolics & Koni shocks and quite happy with them. As for the disks, not to worried about it as I see how much / little they wear. That Series is not standard and these brakes are working just fine for us.
  8. Our Hybrid has front & rear the Zeus kit Series rims - as mentioned - will not really fit, even with 30 mm. spacers As a company they're the worst when it comes to comms & sales Not needed bits - standard barkepads. Basically fit & forget
  9. Looks good ! You can always cut out the window opening....
  10. I'd love to have a mini digger in the workshopto lift stuff...... Looks good !
  11. Interesting - very HD - solution ! We all seem collect miles and miles of wires....
  12. Goedemorgen ! I am sure it has been covered but I can't find it : The gutter looks awful.. What have you successfully used to make the 110 roof waterproof ? I seem to remember it has been covered here but I can't find it...
  13. If you find the steering heavy - start looking for problems. - tyres - tyre pressure - seized joints - Steering relay - Steeringbox To name a few.. Series are not too heavy in steering when moving - stationary it can be heavy
  14. What do you need the damper for ? I think they were an option.... You getting kick back ?
  15. In a way they're very similar brake retarding wise. It is just that the discs are more predictable, esp. after water, and less maintenance. And here in France, the brake test - even for mature vehicle - is rather strict and the discs make passing much, much easier.
  16. We had this set up on the 88"before going discs. Good period improvement
  17. You're a brave man ! I keep looking at a D3 but the head says no....
  18. As your kids were able to overload the speakers - match the new ones to the radio you have. Some quality cables help, too..
  19. Goede Morgen, Diameter = leading here. We use Pioneer in the various LR's and they seem to to a good job. They were bought in bulk (cheaper) and are the 150 Watts variety What radio do you have ?
