Cheers Mo Hi Mo, Don't know who makes these mounts but the rubbers do feel much softer...... Give them a try ! Edwin
western
exactly the same as the genuine LR mounts I listed in this thread a while back.
Smokydiesel
exactly the same as the genuine LR mounts I listed in this thread a while back. If that is true Western, than I can only say that the mounts I bought a while ago as "Genuine parts" (and came in a LR-box) were in fact anything but "Genuine". The mounts I just fitted feel softer and have solved my vibration issue.
western
Don't se any difference between those Glencoyne mounts & the genuine LR ones on my 110, except for the colour of the metal plates.
landroversforever
Maybe its time I changed mine then... the whole truck vibrates on idle!
CwazyWabbit
Maybe its time I changed mine then... the whole truck vibrates on idle! I thought that was just a feature to let you know what hasn't fallen off yet
landroversforever
The most annoying vibration is the exhaust hitting the body work where it exits behind the passenger door! needs a bigger hole in the wing!
CwazyWabbit
Mine would be the security grills that vibrate against the window surrounds at idle ... I must get round to sticking some foam between them
Snagger
I had a similar thread going because I suffer the same problem having fitted a 200Tdi in my 109. In my case I tried genuine SIII diesel rubbers, pattern Def Tdi rubbers and Genuine Def rubbers, all to no avail. I'll try Richard's mountings next - the vibration through the steering wheel and passenger seat at idle are truly horrible.
Quagmire
*Flame suit on* - most of the time you would be hard pushed to feel any vibration at all from my v8 when its idling

discomikey
i was told that a set of engine rubbers off a 2.5DI Transit, around F reg. they fit the same as the 2.5 land rover and series engines but are nice and soft but strong enuff too.
