Mo Murphy
Although I have a pressure that I normally use, I'm curious as to what pressures other people are using and how they get on with them. Mo
western
mine [110] are 28 front & 40 rear.
Lars L
Mine, more or less empty 110 CSW without seats in the back, 26 psi all round on the road. Only used now and then for offroading with lower pressures depending on the ground.
Sirocco
Heavily loaded 90: 32 front, 36 rear (PSI) G
Lorrick
110 Td5 LWB with Super winch on front, heavy loaded for Field work Mechanical engineering, 35 front 42 rear
Retroanaconda
32 front and rear. If planning on loading up heavily I might up the rears to 34 or 36 but I rarely bother. I say 32psi, but the only source for that figure was me doing a chalk test soon after I got the vehicle. So I'd recommend you do the same
ARMYBOB
i am running slightly higher, about 38 all round, but i do tend to run fully loaded alot, i have a big family
Jack Sugden
I know it varies from tyre to tyre slightly but what is the recommended pressure for a 90 unladen? I'm running 265/75/16's at the mo but looking to invest in some BFG's when these run out of tread
ToyRoverlander
28psi all round on my 109" on the road. 14psi offroad.
kiwi_110
40 PSI all round. Currently BFG All Terrain TA's 235/85 R16. Same when I ran Cooper Discoverer S/T's.
bigbeast
32 all round ...mainly road and lane use
Escape
I ran about 40psi front on rear on my 90 when onroad, dropped as low as 20 offroad.
Mo Murphy
Thanks chaps, I run mine at 30 all round which feels quite comfortable to me, any higher and the ride starts to get uncomfortable. I'm surprised at the range of tyre pressures and it just goes to show that different circumstances and conditions dictate different tyre pressures. landroversforever
When I bother checking, I tend to put 30psi front and rear.
rick
FWIW I ran 33PSI (tubeless) all round on a heavily laden 130 on two sets of 255 BFG MT's. Dropped that to 25/26psi when running exclusively on dirt/gravel roads. Funnily enough I had to bump the pressures up to 40 all round now using Maxxis 762's in the same size but am probably running a few hundred kg's heavier now too. (3000kg ove rthe weighbridge) Different case construction/more flexible sidewalls with the Big Horns vs the old style BFG's
