landroversforever
Carl sent me loads of photos of them and I can see the strength in them and the quality of work. But I can't get away from the fact I just don't like the way they look. So that has moved me closer to the D44 ones... not close enough to buy just yet though. landroversforever
He does.... But, I'll still look at it when I'm under the truck! Everything on the truck has to function, but I also want it to look right as well.

landroversforever
One thing to remember is the cost of the internals.... In diffs I'll have about £1500 worth!

bobed90
half the bolts and it would still perform the same and look a lot better!
elbekko
Or just non-bling bolts.
Lewis
Judging from the state of my weld on diff guards I'd say that you'd never be able to undo those bottom five bolts after a day or two offroad, the heads will be half worn away and the recess for the Allen key will be rammed full of crud
CwazyWabbit
In Carls defence he was questioned before about why there were so many bolts and I seem to recall the answer was because people wanted them ... I'll see if I can find the post Edit: My memory is obviously failing me but there are more comments on the diff guards including some from Carl here http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=74819&p=723751
