  1. Couple of links to read http://www.thed2boysclub.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=61996&p=761063&hilit=alternator+light+on#p761063 http://www.thed2boysclub.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50235&p=638675&hilit=alternator+light+on#p638675
  2. Hi, I'm no electrical wizard either but the voltages look good to me in as much as the alternator is charging. Is the drive belt ok and not slipping? My thinking is that the light goes off when you take the power off. Can you check the water in the battery in case it's boiled off which might mean over charging. The more knowlegable will be along soon. Griff
  3. On the rear hubs you may be lucky that it's just the O ring leaking. Cheap and easy fix. However, when I tried this it ended up having to be a new hub. Be careful buying cheap hubs. The main problem can be a difference in the number of teeth on the ABS hub which will cause the 3 amigoes to come on. I buy OEM hubs. O ring number 2 on here http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1232/35470/35681/2704 HTH, Griff
  4. Hi Mathias, My 2004 never had one fitted from the factory. Griff
  5. Theseals will be to keep the bearing grease in I expect. Griff
  6. Hi Fellow Salopian, The D2 does not like to have a cooked engine and it's a bit worrying that this is not the first time. Also the temp guage is not very accurate, and by the time it has gone into the red it's usually too late. A good garage should be able to pressure test the coolant system and do a "sniff test" for combustion gasses in the coolant. Good luck, Griff
  7. If you're happy that the bags are ok , then you need to check the air lines for leakage. If everything in the air system is ok then look to the ride height sensors. HTH, Griff
  8. Hi, Don't have the D4 myself but if you put your approx location in your profile there may be someone near you that can help. Regards, Griff
  9. It all depends on the caliper. I'd replace like for like
  10. It'll be the the small fan next to the headlight height switch

  13. Purge sequence is to pump accelerator 5/6 times with ignition on and leave it to do its cycle to bleed air out GRIFF
  14. Do a search on web for the flashing B or visit the d2boysclub forum. Loads of info there. Griff
  15. Sorry for asking the obvious question but - have you bought the correct belt? I'm sure you're aware they come in different lenghts depending on what's fitted. Griff
  16. Hi, This site may help http://new.lrcat.com/#!/1232/36532/36841/2813/36843 Happy Xmas, Griff
  17. Sounds like a problem with the receiver. It's behind the head lining in front of the rear sun roof. To remobilise it you'll need to use the key to input the EKA. Instructions in the manual GRIFF
  18. If you look at the thermostat you'll see there are 2 ports on one side and one on the other. Make sure you get the 2 port side the correct way round.
  19. My 2004 TD5 runs with the temp gauge half way up. Do the hoses get hot? especially the top hose. If not, first suspect is the thermostat. Make sure it's replaced correctly. Griff
  20. I certainly couldn't see the drain tube in the sunroof tray. Nothing to remove to get to the drain hole at the bottom of the A pillar. They are difficult to find due to the amount of mud that covers them. One hole each side in the metal. HTH, Griff
  21. Hi, The exit points for the front drain tubes are under the A pillar. They are difficult to see and easily blocked with muck. The rear tubes can be acessed behind each rear light unit. HTH, Griff
  22. No problem. In fact I have today ordered the RHS connector repair kit from him as I'm about to change them and want them to hand if I break one. Griff
  23. Hi, Try PaulMac https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/landrover-connectors?_trksid=p2047675.l2559 Griff
