Hi, Do a search for RAVE, the LR manual, and you'll find everything there. Regards, Griff
  3. Hi John, Due to the cost involved, if it where me, I'd bleed the clutch first hoping that fixes it. Regards, Griff
  4. Hi Hugh, Have a read of this. You'll need to scroll down a bit for the pump pctures http://www.discovery2.co.uk/fuel_pump.html Griff
  5. I believe it's a normal fuel line connector with two clips that have to be compressed. Griff
  6. Pretty certian the green pipe goes straight to the engine. There is a connection along the o/s chassis. Have a look at page 19.1.1 of RAVE. Sorry don't know how to copy it onto here Griff
  7. Hi, Was the red imobilizer light on the dash flashing when you tried to start it? If so the starter motor won't operate. I've had this a couiple of times and simply locking with the fob/unlocking and starting straight away solved it. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon. Griff
  8. Hi, If you do a search on the internet for the "Three Amigos" you'll get loads of info. The most common cause is simply a worn wheel bearing causing play that is picked up by the ABS sensor. Secondly a fault with the shuttle valve switch due to a bad electrical connection. This is easily fixed by re-wiring. Because the TD5 is NOT OBD2 compliant this is why the garage may be having trouble diagnosing the fault but can clear it. You need someone with a Nanocom or Hawkeye. Where abouts are you in the midlands? I'm North Shropshire and have Nanocom Evo. Regards, Griff
  9. Hi Downsey, This, as stated, is to turn the CC on/off. You then use the buttons on the right side of the steering wheel to set it etc. Details should be in the handbook. Regards, Griff
  10. Glad you're sorted. Now you need to fix the leak 🙂 Griff
  11. Try using the key to input your EKA. (Emergency Key Acess) Instructions in the handbook. Griff
  12. Did you swallow it?? They usually put a bittering agent in to disuade drinking it. Griff
  13. Hi, Took some pictures today whilst replacing my f/o/s window regulator. They show the clips holding the inner section of the trim on and then should just pull off. HTH, Griff

  15. The front part of the unit is actually the brake vacum pump and can be removed so you only have to replace the alternator itself. An example is here https://www.lrdirect.com/ERR6999-Alternator-Assy/ HTH, Griff
  16. Hi Dave, As it's a hydraulic clutch there is no adjustment -unlike a cable operated one. Griff
  17. Might be worth just checking that the injector "tappet" back lash is ok. Griff
  18. Here's a How To for the window regulator https://www.roverparts.com/resources/videos/repair-window-regulator-motor-discovery-ii/ HTH, Griff
  19. Very clear post. Not unusual to get leaves etc inside too. I had a piece of the foam filter from the front scuttle in mine.
  20. Hi, It sounds "tappety" to me,so the first place I'd be inclined to look at is under the rocker cover to check everything is ok there with the cam and injectors. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon. Do let us know how you get on in case someone does a search on the same subject. Griff
  21. Hi, I don't have the 300TDi, but when unexpected things go wrong with the D2's, the first place we look is at water ingress into the wiring -especially the fuse boxes. HTH, Griff
  22. Hi Roger, Is there not any beam adjustment on the light units? Griff
  23. Good to note. Don't you just love Land Rovers!
