  1. Lol, I was just trying to show he's a decent chap, not criminal!
  2. They come up on eBay fairly regularly and never make much m money!
  3. His children go to school with my cousin, he's a police officer. He has permission to use our land for rifle shooting.
  4. Would a booted CV joint have not worked perfectly, it would allow to the bike and trailer to lean as one, and would allow it to move in the correct planes. The trailer will have to be fairly heavy to have enough traction to push a 100kg man-bicycle combination!
  5. I *think* this is his motor going by his username. 90 chassis i believe. You should definitely make the move from landyzone to LR4x4. Absolute load of numptys over there. I've got a good condition zf4hp22 with BW transfer box sat with torque converter and shifter if your tempted? £150 I live near chesterfield, my grandparents live in Shirley. So Im not far away! (Im also ex harper, however we're new holland drivers im afraid)
  6. If you can get gears in high range, then i don't see why you cant get gears in lowrange. The Transfer box lever merely shifts the gearing of the transfer box, leaving the gearbox (where 1 - 5 and R gears are) completely as they were in high range. I don't see how the gear linkages could bind, as they don't come close enough to each other. What does it do when you try and force it into 3rd 4th or 5th gear in low?
  7. Having just read some more threads, its the weeeeoooeeeeoooeee alarm, BBUS? I am thinking I have sticky door locks giving a miss lock signal to the ecu. carp. Time to sell it I think!
  8. My 02 plate td5 car alarm is disrupting my well needed sleep! As far as I can tell there is nothing wrong with it, not even a buzzy fly inside. Its not windy or rainy and nobody is trying to steal it! Anybody have any idea what can be wrong?
  9. When you adjust the rack travel of the om603 pump fitted to the om606 engine, it is very easy for the rack to go "too far" and become unable to return, thus revving its nuts off. I imagine its a safe guard against this. however I dont think its good for the turbo in the slightest!!
  10. Cheers, thankyou very much! I couldn't see that for looking on the milemarker website!!
  11. As in the title, what thread bolts are used to mount mile marker h12 winches. Seems it must be an American imperial thead!
  12. MSA spec harnesses bolt to the rollcage/firm fixing points, if you were to strap them down tight upon yourself you would be infact compressing the 'sprung' seat therefore making having such a thing pointless! If you did not tighten down your harness, and the seat compressed your harness would surely come loose? I know lorry and tractor sprung seats have the seat belt mounts onto the frame of the seat. Im fairly sure that isnt MSA spec! (i refer to MSA spec, because Im not sure what other governing bodys in other countrys specs are like. But i imagine similar)
  13. (or maybe we've all got fat a*se's and don't need any more padding!)
  14. I think the reason your not getting many replys is that suspension seats would allow you to move away from your race harness and potentially break free from restraints in a turnover etc. I imagine they are NOT msa legal. Thus being basically unheard of in this country!
  15. Dan, what happened to the front end?
  16. Please please buy a CNC plasma table soon! Ive got so much funky stuff i need making!
  17. Clicky linky Thats what I intend to use for the MAT sensor, and weld to a pipe similar to what nige sells. Have you been reading the megamanual at all? clicky linky
  18. I think your slightly lacking wire speed. Only very slightly, in both situations.
  19. The ram you kindly gave me is a little small for the size of wheels I intend to run, however if somebody wishes to have hydraulic steering on say up to 35" tyres with little or no scrub radius please pm me. I shall get the axles weighed pronto. However, I'm not in the slightest bit worried. Im going to have plenty of engine bay room if I ever felt the need to fit a LSx v8 kicking out 600hp (might need to take out a loan though!) Hopefully by next week ill have some updates. Payday soon don't ya know!
  20. Yeah i was probably massively over exaggerating at 900kg, i shall have to get a weighing scales out!
  21. offroad at low speed i dont think Id be able to tell if i only use a single single ended ram. But for a little bit faster, it think it would get strange. When ive got a spare 4 grand to spend on axles (that won't be as strong) i might consider it, but at the moment, ill happily be a little heavy.
  22. just incase nobody else knew what a nokken winch was... clicky linky
  23. unfortunately not lewis, I have been thinking about two of these rams but with rod ends link I've just been out and taken the rear diff cover off. unfortunately an open diff nice clean oil tho!
