  2. According to Ashcroft, each of the LT77s are different ratios, military, early 110/90 and RRC disco are different.
  3. Also, nothing to stop you digging in the whole workshop....
  4. A sunk lift is OK, but if you are planning on rolling hoists or jacks around in the same space it becomes a massive pain.
  5. The Lc1 and LC2 use different sensors, so be aware of that, I forget the nomenclature, but it is clear when you start looking as the plugs are different. If it works and gives a reading then it will be fine, I've certainly had one in a box for 5 years and it worked fine on first switch on, just remember to calibrate it in free air.
  6. It may melt at 420C, but I bet you the tank is hotter than that for dipping.
  7. As usual 9 or 10 steps ahead. Cue pictures of a beadlock ring welded in place, and remaining 9 rings just waiting to be installed.

  16. Well, it is a quattro.... Don't think I haven't though about building a 5 cylinder turbo independent suspension buggy... FWIW it had hydro boost from factory, but too expensive to fix when it went wrong, so runs a normal servo now.
  17. For clarity, those are 225/45/17 on the audi. They look really small.
  18. 14.18 at the battery is fine, there will be voltage drop between the alternator and battery so you won't see the full 14.5V Other cars have a straight 14V regulator, and charge fine.
  19. Hammer the face flat and weld some new crush tubes in place with a spreader plate on the back. I wouldn't be messing about with it with pullers etc.
