  5. Yes right, some imports have lockers but rare. Most imports have a LSD in the rear. If you get them from an auto you get a better raito in the diffs. Also the 93-97 have bigger brakes. Paul
  6. Galvanised chassid, bulkhead and body pannels (if not ali or plastic). 3.0td engine. FF lockers F&R. Auto as a factory option. 35/10.5/16 tyres as standard. Minumum electrics (well at least ones that work when in water). Can be used in 2 or 4 wheel drive. Or even a factory 6x6. Something that can carry a full sized pallet with 1.5t on it. Paul

  9. As I understand the system, you are ok if you only connect to the drivers side battery. Only the passenger side turns to 24v when starting. I have my 3rd battery connected to the drivers side one via a 100amp relay. Taking the switch from the "power take off" under the bonnet, it will only charge the 3rd battery when the engine is running. Paul
  10. I take it this is on the LC? If so I have a 3rd battery fitted in the back. The way I do it is to have the split charge to charge the 3rd battery and carry a very long set of jump leads to jump myself if needed. The reason for this is its 24v starting. Paul
  11. Date is set for 10am on Saturday 25/10/08. Sorry for the short notice, but I picked the sleepers up today and will be leaving them in my trailer till the repair is done. Saves unloading and reloading them as they are heavy. We will need about 20 body’s to do the work. Work is lifting out the old sleepers, replacing them with the "new" ones. The work should only take about 2-3 hours so some laneing can be done afterwards. I have a plan for the old ones . Also "we" need to make a donation to the place from where the sleepers came from. So I will have a bucket for donations. Paul www.crag-uk.org
  12. Replied on Mud Club. But easy to fit as long as you have a hi-lift/Jackall and a compressor. I did all mine in about an hour on the drive on my own. Paul
  13. Anderson connector are the way to go, stright from the battery. Also you can mod a set of jump leads to plug in as well. Paul
  14. Looks good, but I think a lot more cutting to be done. Paul
