  1. As Russ said, i made one a while ago, a few bits of ply, a bit of material and a couple of screws. Two bolts up into a bracket under the roof lining at the front, and two large self tappers into the rib at the rear
  2. I used an £8 sunday market jobie to do all the flares when i build my landy, every one of them was perfect, and not one of them leaked !
  3. A nice easy mod to do whilst the axle is off, one less thing to worry about damaging.
  4. There are a couple on you tube that make you realise how dangerous it can be
  5. That is shocking The one sitting in my garage is held together with a 25mm EN16 greasable pin. But after what i've heard from a few people / posts, i've gone a different route and got reasonable articulation from it at the moment.
  6. Aye, I've just been on their website, £66
  7. Ah reet, i was thinking it's a bit of an odd solution. I presume the solenoids are all the same ? like the ones suplied with the diffs ?
  8. Am i understanding this right? when you engage the ARB locker, the winch goes into freespool, when you disengage the locker, you can winch ? I am going to use +ve pressure from the on board air to engage the centre diff, with a small piston.
  9. Has anyone here got pictures showing how they have converted their freespool to air operated (or even electric ) Particularly on an EP9 Where did you get the cylinder / actuator from ? I'm looking into changing the center diff to air, so might as well do the freespool at the same time
  10. Anyone else had issues with nyloc nuts working loose on a landy ? I fitted loads of new bolts with new nyloc nuts to the landy when i built it, and almost every one of them has come loose Some, i have to retorque ever couple of months Would thread lock and or spring washers and nylocs stay tight ?
  11. I have neither , but all the proper coiled landies have the same size spring, apart from 110/130 rear
  12. They'll fit fine, but give a bit more than 2" lift
  13. Goodbye arches and goodbye hearing You should be able to keep up with me now off road Looks good Russ
  14. I can get you a bit of 50x10 or maybe some 60x6
  15. Get a blanking gromet from Maplins or Halfrauds for example, and drill a hole to suit your size wires.
  16. These people used to sell them http://www.mudstuff.co.uk/products.html
  17. Bearmach El Cheapo is suprisingly good.
  18. I've got the same as mark, 30mm box on both bars. Strong enough to protect the bars, but not too strong as the TRE's will then be the weak link
  19. Chris doesn't look too happy in that last picture of him, i wonder why A great pic to do a comparison with, it's clear to see why i didn't want to go too big with my tyres. Interesting to see how freely the 3 link moves though
  20. As others have said, a cracking weekend. Great weather for the most, great company and some impresive vehicles / driving. Big thanks to Mike, Angela and others for organising a top notch event. I supose i'll have to post some pics as no else has
  21. Apart from yesterday when he broke one of them
  22. Another pair of shafts to add to your collection, good going Mark B)
