  1. 88: Series Hybrid 200 Tdi Pulls well Max Speed about 75 km/h. Could do with a bit higher cruising speed every now and then - not going the higher ratio diff route. Overdrive ? Where to get one..... Let me hear what you think please.
  2. The French ones were no good ?
  3. € 70K + VAT is seems in France for a base version....... Unclear if the ECO Tax is included... I'll rebuild the 110
  4. I'll try to have a look to see if my contribution was done by PayPal - a #%^$%#^club to deal with..
  5. Welcome to the Madhouse.. Interesting project you have.
  6. Thank you all ! The Bellhousing will be kept in mind as it is unclear right now what it is. I will see it late this week.
  7. I hope to take delivery later this year of a new rear axle casing and would like to keep it for a long time. - Do I have the tub galvanized or not ? - Do I have the tub powder coated or not ? What are you experiences / views on this please ?
  8. I'm sorry...... Back to said closet.
  9. That aluminium would make a very nice battery box for my 110 under the passenger seat. Why are you so far away..... (now going to sit in dark closet with coffee to recover....)
  10. Without seeing the vehicle / bulkhead / engine bay.. - LT77 keeps engine (normally a 200 Tdi) closer to the bulkhead - thus the big plastic cowl on them between radiator en fan - R380 is usu. mated to a 300 Tdi and has a longer bell housing and the engine mounts are moved back on the engine block Drive a 300 Tdi Disco and get an idea how it sort of could feel. I had a 110 CSW with a ZF but it was mated to a Mazda and one of the best vehicles i've ever driven.. You mention you recently had the bulkhead galvanized ? That would have been a good moment to have done this gearbox conversion. Money ? Ask different specialists for a quote.
  11. Thank you !!! Very, very Nice one. We all love to see more of this...
  12. Oh yes.... That is also a possibility... Hope not though - makes it even more complicated...
  13. Thanks.. Now it is time to find out what other parts are needed to dress this axle casing up into a functioning rear axle.
  14. Thank You all for the quick reply. So, rear D1 axle should be a long nose ?
  15. Goedemiddag, For a project I was asked if a differential was a "short nose" or a "long nose" ? Not heard diffs described that way before. - what are they ? - what is the difference ? - how to tell them apart ? Thank you.
  16. Thanks Gary ! Reading all the replies I guess there is a fair chance the bolt patterns are the same. Now, all I have to do is be patient and wait another 2 weeks and try.
  17. Well, this is the donor of the 1st Mazda : This 110 with a Mazda 3500 Slti was driving around with an LT95 before they started on getting it out - my guess is that the flywheel / bell housing bolt pattern is V8 Of the LT85 I am also collecting is unknown the flywheel / bell housing bolt pattern is unknown as I do not know what engine that was originally mated to. However, I eventually will get another Mazda from that source and the seller claims that it should fit that LT85. So I will have to be patient....
  18. Suitable for a chassis...... I have one of those, too, and you've given me an idea.... The Mrs. will be away a few weeks this Spring
