    From "piano" to "joysticks"... Several ways to do it but I think it is less expensive and complicated to sell yours and by a new type as it is a lot of work. Perhaps a accident write off digger can get you the parts but it will not be easy.. Do-able, but complicated.

    Interesting read. Please observe that commercial 2-door RRC's have a different floor and are not easy at all to convert to a rear bench.

    Not really a problem me thinks - I've recovered weirder things from further away... Is the vehicle movable (as in : can it be winched on a trailer) ? The logistics will add more €€€ to the vehicle than you may think though

    The Hannibal was a "soft side" Very big, heavy and solid (...I really miss that 110 CSW....)

    "No other country in Europe does this, in my experience " Yes they do... Many good used car got scrapped over the various projects these last decades. But converting a diesel / petrol powered vehicle to electric is much, much more than just fitting the new power pack. In many, many countries the paperwork / legal issues stop this.

    I had the Hannibal on the 88"for a few days but took it off. Parabolics and a roll cage made for interesting driving..

    Thank you all !!!!! The transport company just sent me the invoice for the transport / formalities / etc. so it should come to the Continent soon.

    Sounds interesting. Make sure the wood is well aged as otherwise you may end up with a funny looking door... We have found that doors here are just too low....

    Funny to read how the X=Brake came to be.. I have an Hybrid Handbrake on the Hybrid... Cable operated Series Drum and it works very, very well and the lever is waay out of the way. ...and in the Alps / serious slopes one should park with a chock behind a wheel.
