  8. Hi Gerben, welkom They're different in many way and for rebuilding, when you have the bits, it is a weekend job. Front axles (RRC / D1/Defender) can be sort of interchanged but details differ per axles and require work. In the end, we jusr rebuild the axles.. Succes !
  9. Wales would be very, very good as LATP is in the Midlands.. sort of
  10. We have had several 300 Tdi's and think they're quite good.. However, the Mazda 3.5 Tdi is for me the best....
  11. What did the 300 Tdi do to be omitted from the list ?
  12. The Ninety has this : The 110 Chinese LED units do the job. On the Hybrid we have these - with LED H7 inside... I really like to have a bit of light on the rear....
  13. Oh well, it fills some space I suppose...
  14. It will be...... He 's been there before But now things are a bit different - engine, gearbox etc. are all different.. Hence the shakedown.
  15. The Ninety is in the workshop now for a service - nect one in is the Hybrid to finish it and get it CT'd (French MOT) Then I'll do a test drive to the Alps and take it to 10,000 ft. to see how it goes. August (LATP) will be about 2,000 miles round trip
  16. Drew makes me go ! Honestly.. It 's going to be fun - esp. as it seems I 'm doing a slight detour via Scotland....
  17. I'm afraid you'll see me there... I've been told by Drew that I'm to come with him.. Will be fun !
  18. Thanks !!!!!! Let 's see how this goes. I really don 't mind taking the Series up North. In fact, it will be a very, very special opportunity to take the vehicle back to where I found it back in 1978..
  19. No worries - I didn't know either until I was told to go... Leafers At The Pitt a somewhat "different" event I was told " Series only " I am to go to with a friend, bringing 2 Series vehicles over. ( Apedale Valley Light Railway (near Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire) www.avlr.org.uk ) Will be only some 400 kms going North and I could sleep with friend near Edinbrugh. You're sure it is not too much of an hassle to modify the panel ?
