  1. Air is the easiest way to get the bolt undone... Need to do that, again, later this week.... Bon Courage !
  2. It seems work is stopping me from going anywhere with the LR's this year.... ๐Ÿ˜ž
  3. As he said, but they do fetch serious money.
  4. Hope this works for you : On the Brownchurch, from the underside of the "roofrack foot" it is 250 mm or just under 10 inches to the underside of the rackfloor. HTH
  5. what he says.. or air in the fuel lines...
  6. Have you checked the belt tensioner ?
  7. Should be fine.. We have TIC parabolics and a BRB + X9 up front and no problems
  8. Nice !!! My workshop shrunk in the plans from 14 x 8,5 mtrs to 8 x 8,5 mtrs..... Underground here means 100 mm pipes with ropes through them for all kind of wiring... We learned the hard way there is always another cable / hose to be put in later. Well over 700 mtrs. of underground ducting (yes - I love minidiggers) we put in over the years and about 1,5 mtrs. under the ground - we have never problems getting cables somewhere - even water & CCTV in the fields... I bought a 5000 mtrs CAT5 cable reel and we use that for both computers, telephone, CCTV, alarms etc. Pls. keep them coming !
  9. Would be very, very nice indeed ! Miss my Mazda these days a lot....
  10. It never ever ceases to amaze me what sort of knowledge & skills are around on this forum... I may come with this kind of question for my roof 0 however, that is to be horizontally lifted - not hinged..
  11. You may consider putting the # mentioned on th V5 in the engine somewhere. DVLA is not what is used to be..
  12. Hope you can get it on Portugese plates with this engine... Bon Courage !
  13. Interesting reading this...... We have the wobble at 45 mph with the Ninety and that is lifted.. "Police spec spring" on the rear (whatever that means) and no PT winch anymore up front.. Leaning backwards.. (sorry to steal this tread..)
  14. Really good tread this ! Please, keep it coming. I watch and learn - merci beaucoup !
  15. Talk about a blast from the past ...... Interesting this. I have on the Series Hybrid a rear diff lock and it is useful at times. Very interesting to see how this goes - please keep us informed.
  16. Bypass the alarm / immobiler with a home grown one and you should have sorted the problem. We did on our 300 Tdi Disco's - esp. the Mrs. her German spec one was a nightmare.... Obviously, a simple hidden switch can be fitted to delay theft.. BTW.... " My old and broken down washing machine keeps asking me for a dish washer but I told her I married one " You're a much brave man than me.... Much, much braver ๐Ÿ˜Ž
  17. Well.... it is home again. And again on a trailer.... The Mrs. is not impressed... Due to my limited tech skills, I did not see a way to fit a smaller fan belt and tension it on the 300 Tdi. I'd love to see this done. This weekend, he goes in the workshop but I'm not sure I'll have time before I leave for Kalingingrad and Holland...
