Connector finally here, could not deliver the first one !!!!! Only found out after 3 weeks, ordered another one two days ago and it's here

The original order went back to Mouser, however they are going to send that one back out as a spare

Hot damn...................OTHER me........electrical me...........

Seriously though, the loom for the engine is made, so you just have to wire up 3-4 relays, power and ground, and connect the right wire at the ignition switch -I mean how hard can it be ;)

It'll be fine, Lucas are now listing wiring smoke replacement drums of 10l and 25l next day :)

More seriously, it will be ok because you look at the desired outcome and then work through it with a full operation list in place.

I am so looking forward to a short vid clip of Sid with all 8 legs(?) on the ground.

The wheels are great, those lower ply tyres are gonna get hold so much better.

Mike

I already know in my own mind you guys would help me out if I wasn't so North........lol

But nice of you to confirm it......

@Wytze you are a naughty man .......lol

I'm sure I will get plenty of advice, also if I'm doing it myself my knowledge base will increase into areas I'm not comfortable with, so that's got to be a win for me

Cheers guys regards Stephen

I'd happily come up and help but after this little thing of a wedding is out of the way. A trip to Scotland is long overdue and I can bring electronicsy goodness with me.

We are currently thinking about Hogmany on Skye but you'll have probably got it installed and running by then.

Just north in the wrong direction :D

But really, if my summer wasn't already filled with Swedish house stuff, I'd happily come over for a bit to help. I very much hope to see Sid v1.5 in the flesh again :)
