Trying to fit front shocks, tried always to keep shock body under wings but to no avail, try as I might steering components will not stay out of my way, so shock top will be through wing but under bonnet so will not be seen So started with a cad template To make a metal template Then a fake shock body with spherical joints at closed shock centre's some 6mm box section cutting and folding upper shock tower false one for size Some backing plate for additional strength real shock tried for size, got it compressed with the assistance of some small pull lifts this is about where I want it to be regards Stephen 10 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Thanks Still got all droop etc to check, that's why nothing is fully welded yet just in case stuff has to be reconfigured, nowt worse than cutting off after fully welding.
