Snagger
Ingenious stuff. Sad that the UK has lost so much heavy industry and now has to import such items so far.
elbekko
Well, that's neat. Can't say I've ever seen a trailer drive onto itself.

Although that one isn’t self propelled, it’s pushed on by the tractor unit. The self propelled modular units are another league of impressive. Tractor unit(s!!!) takes them to the site, but then they can drive into place for final manoeuvres.
Escape
The Addrive by Goldhofer (not sure if any other manufacturers have similar) is very impressive as well. It can be towed up to 80 or 90 kmh by a tractor for long distance, but the driven axles can provide support up to 50kmh for inclines and such and once on site it can move without the tractor for increased manoevrability. With 36ton/axle line at 5kmh!

Popular Post miketomcat
We had a hihab truck in today with a lowloader boat trailer on. First we lifted a huntsman off a maffi trailer and blocked it off on the ground. Next I towed the maffi into a new position so a boat cradle could be placed on top. Then we lifted the the 25ft wooden yacht on to the maffi. Final part of the operation and the only part I had time to take a photo was winching the maffi with yacht on top into the workshop. The winch line has to go through the man door, under a swordsman that's already in the workshop and around a snatch block to the back of the maffi trailer. Stellaghost
Issues with lumps in the process For reference that lumps is around 6 feet high and as you can see very hot inside Brokk robot demolition breaking it up, you would not think it would stay that hot after 4 days !!! 20240627_153151.mp4 Regards Stephen
Escape
Impressive to see! How does the demolition robto get to the lump? I can't see tracks or anything and those legs look like they're for support only, not walking.
Ed Poore
Probably tracks or wheels underneath like the spider cherry pickers.

Those are the exact machines, we have a large full width ramp we install at the cooler entrance, this allows the machine to track up the ramp over the roll crusher, legs are for stability when wrecking Regards Stephen
