Billing Tickets etc

I've not been to Billing before and fancied going down on the Saturday just for the day.

So first of all do I generally need to book in advance or should I be OK to pay on the door?

I've been on their website and see that it's £9 in advance or £10 on the day. I presume that is per day?

They have an online ordering facility but if I select 2 Adults it brings up a total price of £0.00. Also it doesn't ask what day I want.

So I'm not sure if I'm too late to book online? or if I'm just better buying when we get there? Is there any chance of it being fully booked?

I figured it out now - you have to continue shopping - should learn to read!

No,

Their online ordering system is about the worst I have ever come across. If you had to shop for your food the same way it would involve taking a jar off the shelf, placing it in your trolley, going to the next aisle, filling the jar with jam, again placing it in your trolley. Then off to the lid section, take a lid off the jar and screw it on, place jar back in trolley and then try and find the aisle with the labels!

I got so frustrated with their ordering system I couldn't be bothered buying tickets. I have a family of 5 and just couldn't face booking tickets, camping and offroad session so I emailed the E-commerce developers and gave them a 'subjective review of their system'.

It isn't the best - took me a couple of goes and I am an E-commerce Developer!

Got there in the end though,

You just have to say how many people are in your party - that gets a charge of £0.00

You then have to click Continue Shopping - then choose what the people are going to do whilst there, and add that to the cart

You then have to change the qty of the activity to match the number of people in the party

You then have to Click Recalculate

You then Click to go through to Google checkout and voila!

Will try and make saturday, although will be in G/F's Focus, as my old LR has no MOT and my new one isn't ready till 22nd :(

Snap I'm going on Saturday in my wifes focus as My LR has no MOT! Not sure I'll have a new one by the 22nd though

Well I'm sure I'll see most of you there then - mind you I won't have a clue who any of you are!

Good News:

Wife insists I go to Billing!

Bad News:

'Cos she wants to visit family in Milton Keynes. Deanshanger to be exact.

Why is this bad news? 'Cos she won't do 140 miles each way in Hatty (I must admit 55mph cruising speed and knackered seats can be a little trying). The Moggy didn't go down well either.

So we have to go in the Escort.

Promise you won't laugh?
