McS
Hi all Happy New Year! I'm after some new steels for the Tomcat - I dont want 8-spokes or Wolf's/XD's and I'm still reluctant to part with the cash for Mach 5's. Could anyone running any alternatives please post some piccies for me to look at, the quirkier the better! The vehicle is Dark green - are we thinking black wheels?? Cheers in advance, McS

Mark90
While looking for those photo's I also found this one of some nice vogue alloys on Bish's RR, shame you can't really see them
LR90
If you're thinking Mach5 then why not go a step further and get the Mach5 split rims?
TJ101
While looking for those photo's I also found this one of some nice vogue alloys on Bish's RR, shame you can't really see them Ahhh,, Remember it well,, myold defender and winch, anchored via Fi disco, could not shift it,, Seven Sisters posing stone, by the look of it Mark ?? On the wheels subject,, you will allways get a good price back for the Mach 5, when you have finished with them !! I almost got as many as Les now !! landrover598
White 8 spokes are the way forward or silver modulars
s2hotdog
Good point about the re-sale value every body wants a set .............. I can't justify a set when I'm telling SWMBO we have no money for kitchens bathrooms etc ........... maybe when its all done though Steve
SeriousIIa
White 8 spokes with BIG (35) tires are the way to go ............. But then you should have a yellow landrover
DiscoDino
I have 12x15 beadlocked black 8 spokes for my Disco - I think you can get FAR better wheels for the SAME price as modulars from the internet, shipped and probably beadlocked (if you need it)

geoffg
Hi If it's for extreme use, as i expect a tomcat would be, i wouldn't go for those 8 spokes. They are made of cheese and bend really easily Geoff

Can anyone put some weights up of their wheels? You might think one kilo more is not so much, but it is always multiplied by 5. Daan
