RoaryV8
Walked out to the Rangie this afternoon after being out in it this morning to find oil leaking out from the rear wheel. Only re-newed the oil in the diff yesterday. So took the wheel etc off to find the oil seal knackered and the stub axle knackered too .... GREAT!!!! Bowie69
Your wheel bearing is shagged too, hence why the ABS ring is scored.
Steve Hiatt
I'd be more concerned about the pointing on the stone wall.
dirkthe1
Did you manage to get the oil out of the concrete? That could be nasty if it stains
need4speed
I'd be more concerned about the pointing on the stone wall. You mean theres stones? All i see is pointing..
RoaryV8
Yeah think the whole lot is gone, only tightened the bearings up when i got the truck about 3 months ago. Could of already done the damage before i got it. But new stub, Bearing and seal and another lot of new oil.. Think ill be checking the other side too
RoaryV8
Did you manage to get the oil out of the concrete? That could be nasty if it stains Surprisingly yeah, sprayed some de-greaser on it while still wet and poured some water of it and it just washed away, i was very surprised. RoaryV8
Luckily not our house its rented, so the stone wall is nothing to do with me Yeah might renew the whole rear end both sides for piece of mind.
need4speed
What i meant was it might be prudent to give the front the once-over as well...

brighouse shed
anderzander nice seat covers but i reckon the bonnet ornament is worse than having your wheel on the front.
