BogMonster
Doesn't seem to work very well. I typed in the numbers of a couple of vehicles I know offhand (private plates) belonging to somebody I know in UK and it says they don't exist, which I know they do. Maybe it doesn't work on private plates? White90 is powered by "heavy oil"
white90
Not sure a few of my old ones didn't appear. maybe it is related to the new MOT over here.

western
Hmmmm wonder how this works then the RAC link shows my 110 as Date manufactured 31 December 1989 & the DVLA link shows Date of First Registration 19 10 1989 which I know is correct as I have paper copies of DVLA's database records for my 110. geoffbeaumont
All the vehicles I've owned come up correctly. Well, almost - the Skoda Felicia is missing the last change of owner, but that was very recent so probably not in the database yet. It's been given away for free for third time and still going strong at about 190k. I should never have got rid of that car...
bishbosh
DVLA site is more up to date - gives the Bishtail as a diseasel (correctly ) whereas the RAC is still a V8

Blippie
Until recently our V5 showed our Freelander to be a Ninety. I thought this was a nice quirky aspect, and seems to be not uncommon with 1998 models, inclusing some if not all of the Camel Trophy ones. Unfortunatley, my local MoT tester wouldn't accept it for the new computerised test. His exact words were: "I'm not sure what the hell it is, but I'm sure it's not a Land Rover!" Although it has been changed by the DVLA in July, the RAC link still shows it as a Ninety. Cheers Blippie
