When I built my drawer, I built a brew table to fit under it sliding in and out on kitchen drawer sliders, usable with the drawer in or out. It worked very well indeed

As Ralph has said, a good thick layer of ptfe tape, wound on in the correct direction (if it's in the wrong direction you'll leave it all on the outside )
Having said that, a leaky filler usually just dribbles down the diff pan.
Check that oil isn't leaking from the diff input seal in the diff nose behind the drive flange that the prop bolts to. This is the more likely cause of oil spots on the back door.

Ok, so if I wanted to fit vented discs to my 1984 90 with an original unvented disc axle, which calipers would I need assuming, as I am, that the hubs would be imperial ? Perhaps they'd be metric by 1984 ?
Lets use Paddocks front brake page as a common reference point for simplicitys sake

You will need the inside frame of the door from which you removed the old skin panel. If this is beyond repair you will need to buy a bare door assembly and then swap all your trim parts on to it.

If the captive nuts are spinning, use a grinder to cut through the hinge at an angle and cut the head off the bolt. The hinge will be scrap but then if it's been on there long enough for the nut/bolt to rust together then it's probably shagged anyway.

Get an X-Fan thermostat and a diesel mondeo fan. I had a Kenlowe once, the "open to the elements thermostat" filled with mud and died. What a waste of money on a vehicle that's going to play in the mud.
