  1. Like Hydraulic pipe clamps, you can get nice armour cable cleats in large sizes https://www.swaonline.co.uk/cable-fixings/cable-cleats and. https://www.cef.co.uk/catalogue/products/14348-50-8mm-pvc-swa-no-20-cable-cleats-sold-in-1-s
  2. I saw an Ad for an electric Corsa and then checked it out but then saw that the fossil fuel versions were around £16K but the electric version was twice the prices at £32K. I then thought £16K buys a lot of petrol. 🤔
  3. I've used Visio in the past but now would use Libre Draw. There are some more electrical shapes available as and extension (not car related) https://extensions.libreoffice.org/extensions/libresymbols The main advantage of Libre Draw over inkscape is that lines (wires) stay connected to objects when you move items around. I used a lot of labelled boxes for components Or If the symbol you want does not exist create it from simple shapes and then group it in to one object.
  4. Don't know if you could use something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/DeWalt-Router-Attachment-Guide-Rails/dp/B0013LI8U4 And adapt it fix to the DCS391 Bed somehow. This of course would push the track further away from the blade a bit.
  5. Or company that does welding testing might help like:- https://www.swtndt.co.uk/welding-procedures--welder-approvals-12-c.asp
  6. NVQ in Welding? https://www.cityandguilds.com/qualifications-and-apprenticeships/engineering/mechanical/1782-nvq-diploma-in-fabrication-and-welding-engineering#tab=information There is a "Find a Centre" box on the right to find places that run this course near you.
  7. It depends what you want it for, but I have https://www.swissarmy.com/us/en/Products/Swiss-Army-Knives/Medium-Pocket-Knives/CyberTool-M/p/1.7725.T And think it is great
  8. Or make it from something like https://www.instamorph.com/ or PolyDoh
  9. And if that does not work then you can also use hammer shock technique while under load from the spliter
  10. Given that the dent looks rusty but the rest of the head is not then it suggests that the dent was there for some time (probably before it was sent?)
  11. As look for independent spare parts sellers like https://www.hebebuehne24.de/hebebuehnen-ersatzteile/hebebuehnen-hersteller/stertil-koni/
  12. A lot of their manual have the stickers in them but cannot find the manual for the 4040 (google seems to find manuals on their site without login) I think I did find the manual at http://manualzilla.com/doc/6761558/st-4032---st-4040---velkommen-hos-kim-have?page=22 But no stickers in that but it does have the lubrication table which I think is the red page, Or the best I could find was Could translate the wording to make your own from this (found on auction site https://www.bva-auctions.com/nl/auction/lot/37845/12164963?pid=2 ) One for sale at https://www.marktplaats.nl/a/auto-diversen/gereedschap/m1389414991-4-kaloms-hefbrug-koni-2002-ko-4040-4000kg.html May be ask for more pics of labels? Or try a friendly distributor or seller
  13. So I've used a Tom Tom truck one in the past and it was reasonable good, that allowed you to enter weight and height of your vehicle and it would select routes that did not go via roads with weight and height restrictions. (Their current line up is https://www.tomtom.com/en_gb/sat-nav/truck-sat-nav/#productLineup )
  14. For an Android App I don't think you can beat "Here WeGo" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.here.app.maps&hl=en_GB Which is what used to be Nokia Maps and is now owned by some car companies (Edit it's Audi, BMW, and Daimler and Nokia maps used to be NavTeq) It has offline maps that are frequently updated, so does not require a data connection unless you want traffic updates.
  15. The old seal usually makes a good seating tool.
  16. From memory as mine was connected to a manual switch it would raise the idle by a couple of hundred rpm.
  17. My 14CUX had an input (pin 33) from the aircon clutch which causes it to increase the tickover revs to better handle the load of the aircon pump when the aircon comes on. I'm note sure why you would want to do it a more complicated way
  18. That's the exact one but larger size than the one I have for brake cleaner, still going strong after 6 years
  19. The best hack I've done a sprayer like that is plumb in a PCL air socket like https://www.screwfix.com/p/pcl-ac21cm-airflow-male-coupling-socket-bsp-taper-male-thread/ Then just turn the air reg down to below max pressure of container and connect up to my compressor and then spray the fence with it 🙂 No hand pumping, bad spray patterns, just constant air at a good pressure
  20. https://whiterosetools.com/products/sealey-pressure-solvent-sprayer-with-viton-seals Looks a bargain
  21. Really need something with Viton Seals for chemical resistance and they are not cheap.
  22. An old wheel makes a great hanging point for airlines.
  23. It depends on what you use it for. So I have https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amtech-Y2650-Retractable-Hose-8-Inch/dp/B002W4T49U/ Not the biggest diameter pipe, the pipe is not the most flexible but better than a cheap extension pipe I have. Because it is not auto guided, if the wrap all goes to one side then the spring can need a little help to pull in the last 6 inches because the pipe is just rubbing on the case enough to stop it pulling it in but a little help by hand will see it fully retract. You need to buy your own connectors but you get to choose PCL or euro depending on what you use. Was used daily for about 6 months, now only a couple of times a week but still going strong after 7 years and for the price it was well worth it. Update: looking at other the reel is quite open so it is easy to see the wrap and push the wheel to help for the last 6 inches when badly wrapped
  24. I've used a trolley jack to lift and hold heavy items in place while bolting things in to place (it helps having a smooth floor to roll it on).
