  1. this is the same picture you posted up in the Swindon meet thread? Spam?
  2. Not sure they fit so snugly in the industrial ones though Mikey?
  3. I personally can't stand shadow board type things. Halfords Industrial all the way for me (and two of the bottom ones for the 2nd deep draw. If you have things laid out neatly in the box its easy to see when things are missing
  4. I don't think so Ralph, as its normally the first tuesday of the month. Might be good to have one, as I'll not be about for the first tuesday of January. Thoughts Scott & john?
  5. I changed mine recently and used Allmakes ones. They are great. Make sure you grease them (and the tubes) well
  6. But depending on your driving style you may never break a standard shaft?! Anyway, I know my wallet certainly can't afford to buy the best of everything that I might break!
  7. A quick google came up with this: http://www.albeegascylinders.com/ not someone I have used, but seems promising and is a part of a well known gas company.
  8. Surely the main message should be get out there and get to know your vehicle! You don't need anything more than a standard LR for greenlaning . As for lockers - I have a new ashcroft waiting to be used (truck currently broken ) and it is a great bit of engineering and I would buy another in a shot! Standard VS. upgraded shafts... stick with the standard ones to start with and then upgrade if you're breaking them!
  9. Needs something long and slow to drag out the pain. I like the winch idea.
  10. Thats ****ing horrible . Needs hanging for all to see

  12. Used HPC and ondrives for work, both are very good
  13. The H.A.Z. will be much larger than the weld, unless its been done with an Electron Beam Welder!
  14. Best wishes to all Apart from the 'lock thread' button!!!!
  15. To me that looks like it has ripped the tube, not broken the weld. Its the thinner wall that makes it less forgiving IMHO.
  16. no, silicone instead of the drive flange gasket .
  17. The shaft can be pushed in so the circlip groove isn't visible. Is most annoying when you don't notice its pushed in until you have the drive flange siliconed onto the axle
  18. Well is it effective? What heater is it?
