  1. Thats good to hear . At least the future won't be orange!! Eddie is a nice bloke too .
  2. I would look at putting something to stop the High lift sliding from the jacking point... something like a couple of bits of bar welded on.
  3. I run QT reverse relocation cones on mine and they are fantastic. Spring is held in at the top and the pointy cone goes on the bottom. I bought them after loosing a spring in Wales last year when I had the upper mounted ones. I've obviously not got Gwyn's ones, but I can vouch for the quality of the stuff he makes
  4. Very much looking forward to it, will be my first L2B . Lets hope I don't break the truck this weekend in Wales!
  5. You hardly gain any visibility... the only gain is the thickness of the old window frame. For me the only think I think they would look any good on or be of any use is a road going black defender.
  6. Ah just take her out for a meal.... McDonalds is cheap
  7. Insurance wise, think of the number of VWs or drag cars that are on the road with different sized tyres.
  8. Neil, I've got my old speedo loom which Si put LEDs on, yours if you want it? what connectors does yours use?
  9. I think you can mix the two, but you must have them in pairs per axle. Don't mix radial and crossply on the same axle.
  10. Wikipedia seems to think its 2493cc http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Land_Rover_engines#Td5_.28Engine_Codes_15P_and_16P.29 But adverts and things seem to be quoting 2495cc. Bit of a minefield!!
  11. All these 'old' people complaining about insurance!!! I would love to pay some of the premiums you lot are moaning about... try paying £1200 and see how you like it I'm nearly 21, clean license, no prangs and my insurance last year was more than the rest of the guys I meet up with in Swindon! If anyone feels sorry and wishes to contribute, I can give you my paypal address
  12. Part of that is a genuine kit... the wheel arches and the side pannel additions... but the front and rear bumpers have had some extra work. Truly horrid.
  13. I had the same to start with Chris, but logging in and out solved it
  14. Only for a very short while after. When you've posted there is an edit button next to the multiquote & quote buttons.
