  1. Hi, I believe they already exist and are located at the top of the International forum. Steve
  2. Do you mean one of these? I'm not sure what it's called though! sorry. Steve
  3. Hi, I'll be there, it was great fun last time! Steve P.S. Interesting way of spelling Brick Kiln!
  4. Hi, I know when I replaced my fuel tank (pattern part) the lip where the two bowls are joined together was larger than previous making the whole tank slightly wider and so I had to remove the door sill body trim and also the strip that ties in the bulkhead and rear tub. I was a pain, but I eventually got it to fit! Steve
  5. Hi, Hydraulic pullers work well as I used one to remove my drop arm off my steering box as I knew it was going to be tight. Use an old bolt that fits the thread in the crank pulley or a smaller bolt with a large washer behind it, this way you do not damage your pulley bolt as this is where the puller will apply its force. You could also try some penetrating oil and leave it overnight to soak in. Hope this helps Steve
  6. Hi, Any news or pictures from todays off-roading? Steve
  7. Land Rover World also has an article, again lots of pictures. Thought I'd have a look as i was passing a newsagents! Steve

  9. This is the very problem, knowing the size! This is another plea for sizes of steering box output shaft and (from Mo) the size for the hub seal bit on the stub axle then! Thanks Steve
  10. Where did you purchase yours from - straight from SKF or a local dealer? What is the price range for these sleeves? Steve
  11. Hi, I'm thinking of using one on my steering output shaft as it is obviously scored causing the seal to fail. The steering box works fine, just the oil leak is the problem. The problem is now finding the diameter of the steering output shaft so that i can go ahead and order one. Steve
  12. Hi, If the filler plug you mean is next to the handbrake drum looking towards the front of the vehicle then this is the filler/level plug for the transfer box which has the centre diff lock inside. This is should be filled with EP90. Steve
  13. This is one of the things I've got on my list of things to do as i have already changed the oil seal and is still leaking so I am now going to change the drive flanges. Things to check: - The splines are located correctly so you should feel the gears turn a little when you rotate the flange from side to side. - You should have TWO drive shafts connected. Hope this helps. Steve
  14. Hi, Brick Kiln is another Shire event, at Alton which isn't far from the bordon area and I think its a great little site. There's also Core4x4 in chichester, but I haven't been to this one yet. Does anybody have an opinion, review of Core4x4 site? Steve

  16. Excellant I'll being poping along late morning. Just a question about the clicky map link - does it need updating as it doesn't work? Thanks Steve
  17. Just reading the website page - apparently there good for off rading, well thats what it says anyway! "For off rading and wading in deep water the Power plug can be combined with TFEL052 ECU extension loom." Steve
  18. Hi, I hope to go and watch some comp safari as i haven't been before and judging by the photos from the last event it looks fun. the family will be coming to watch and so we will not be coming in a land rover. My question is whats the entrance like, is it level or is there a layby or carpark nearby to park as we will be coming in a car not a land rover! Thanks steve
  19. What size bar did you use to make your recovery points? Steve

  24. I would definitely go along with both of these statements. They are there to accelerate the rusting process!
  25. Thw whole idea of a speedy sleeve is that it is so thin that you can use the existing seals. This is why I thought it may be another option to consider. Steve
