  1. Goedeavond, TTBOMK I have the standard Series LWB MBC with servo off a 109"export as we initially had the bigger drum up front set up. No bias valve.
  2. Obviously : YES ! Series are always worth saving - and this looks like an interesting project.
  3. Looking very nice ! have a save testdrive..
  4. Do you want more height - of normal height when fully loaded ? I suggest you weigh the vehicle empty and loaded and take this information to the various suppliers to see what they have to say. There are several good spring suppliers in the EU, saving you the extra paperwork etc. from buying in the UK... Simply raising the vehicle without good data can be a waste of money as lift does not mean more carrying weight etc. 200 - 300 kgs in the back - spread out - is not excessive. Nice progressive springs with matching shocks will be much more comfortable for both people and vehicle.
  5. Fully understand that feeling. "In Stock" here means often that the supplier of the vendor has the bits in stock. Since January 1, that means nothing really.. So best practise is to call and make sure they actually have the part on their shelf - not on one at the other side of the Channel...
  6. Post a picture and measure the holes - there are many different DB options for LR and 1 is likely to fit.
  7. Yes..... I know. But to me they are well worth waiting for. But in general, Zeus delivers eventually but somehow comms & shipping are not their strongest point.. I found them not easy in the comms and reply dep., but once they say they'll ship it did actually arrive. And their technical help & support was very good.
  8. This could mean you'll have a busy weekend... Hope it arrives OK
  9. Well done !! Now you hopefully get to enjoy all the hard work !!
  10. Seems your logistics are sorted.... 🙂 Now all you have to do is to find the vehicle and actually buy it. Good hunting
  11. Well, have fun : https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1941270264.htm?ac=206978287 https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1940562548.htm?ac=206978287 https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1939707985.htm?ac=206978287 https://www.leboncoin.fr/equipement_auto/1935551133.htm?ac=206978287 https://www.leboncoin.fr/voitures/1907702380.htm?ac=206978287 Remember, UK has left the Customs Union so I have no idea how this paper wise works these days.
  12. Wait until you sit in it on a hot summer day - you can feel the heat coming from under the car......
  13. She sounds like a very good one ! Count your rivets.... And love that bowl
  14. Lock down or otherwise, life is expensive these days.. We're doubling the office floor space, getting a few LR's back on the road and awaiting the verdict on the Santa Fe. Not to mention the Mrs. going away with the horses and truck a lot. Jaags....... have a very good friend in Holland who has been into them for 40 years + and the junk to show it. Shared my workshop with hm for decades - usually me towing trailers with very dead Jags from all over Europe behind Series LR's... If they run, they are nice. If they don't..... Have Fun !!
  15. Into a Defender I guess ? Either you go forward and the rear of the winch sits flush with the rear of the bumper Like this : (Thank you Devon4x4) but you loose approch angle Or you start hacking : Having a Husky on the 110, I'm not too worried about the approach angle
  16. End of a seriously good business....
  17. Try the specialists - but be prepared to sit when making the enquiry.... Anything Wolf is.... expensive
  18. we need pics and more details like engine etc.
  19. Think your list is almost there. Proper roll over protection would be nice as are square lines interior wise to make building cupboards etc. easier. Side anchor points are useful. Also, good washable seats please..
