- Construction of new workshop (building permit applied for)
- Finish the Red Hybrid
- Replace roof 110 with the lift section one
- Do 3 Overland trips
Looks very nice - think that overhang is fine as you get less water ingress.....
the 9 mtr. truss will be about 150 kgs and goes 4 mtrs. - those tackles are very useful....
looking good !
chain tackle to lift the top beam ?
That's what I did - and will hopefully do again this Summer as I need to put up 3 trusses that are 9 mtrs...
Hope you don't mind some questions....
What "motherboard" it is you're you using, please ?
Is that a Mudstuff console ?
and what is that panel on the dash ?
Radio ?
CB ?
Thanks
Clean out the system, check thermostat and see what happens..
We have a somewhat different heating system in the 110 and it does the job very well - oven hot - and is producing warmth within 10 mins of starting from cold.
However, we do have an engine pre-heater we use if it gets really, really cold and for overnnight sleeping a webasto heater.
I'd suggest you get a engine heater to help the engine for the short journeys and getting some heat.
Obviously you try to stay as close as possible to the original.....
Like me 😁
Parabolics, IH Scout powersteering, 200 Tdi, Stage IV Front, roll cage, LED's, customs build electrics... etc....
Avoid working on engine on a bench if you can - that one in the pic will not be safe and shall cause harm.
Static loads are mentioned and working on engines if everything but that that..
I build a bench myself and it will take an engine with gearbox easily.
However, I work them on the ground.
Can't drop that way and will make for boring, if safe, working..
IF I may say : ""normally" means that you have to be very, very careful as some are just so rotten....
Long term, a new galvanized chassis makes a lot of sense.
Funds etc. permitting, obviously..
With trucks, recovery insurance is a no brainer. Here it will cost around € 5,5 per km to get a truck towed away and France is a bog place...
Vehicle misery sounds familiar..
Bon Courage !!
