  1. Please accept my Condolences Bon Courage with the restoration - please pose any questions , we're here to help.
  2. What they said.. You bought an IR Gun - what did it tell you ?
  3. Yes, a relay fed through the ignition would be a nice solution . Ours are all behind cut off switch (don't do ignition) sauf the clock, obviously.
  4. No worries. Best way is to chalk them, roll them and see if you have chalk over the width of the tyre. If not, adjust. But ours run around the 2.6 Bar mark
  5. Without knowing what the vehicle actually weighs, SWB or LWB, around 2.3 - 2.7 Bar.
  6. Well done. Marking stuff is sooo 20th century 😂
  7. Not really - there is a very good diagram - and the terminals are all labelled now so tracing is easy. IF you read Dutch When the 110 goes for a chassis wop, new electrics will be installed as the interior will be done. 2 alternators, 2 batteries and a few interesting mods (central door locking to name one) will keep me busy
  8. Yes...... Adding fuses to a Series makes a lot of sense ! ...however, some people over do it... 😁
  9. Oh yes........ Manual Pre Glow - so instead of counting I can watch the clock.. 😄 The hr. counter is to see what hours the "new to me" 200 Tdi in the Series Hybrid does.. Could not find a 52 mm alti meter... 🤣
  10. Suggest you her something to make her happy - a OneTen will never be to drive like a car, whatever you throw at it. If she doesn't like it, she will not like it. Simple. Having said this, we had a 17 year young very French, very girly, young Lady with us last week and she loved driving the old Land Rovers and is showing signs of the well known addiction... Esp. the Ninety was much to her liking... Now her mom worries. A lot. Oh well.
  11. Depending on your needs, a lot is possible. Esp. if you use the aux. panel like we did : On the right a few essential switches.. On the left, several USB, Cig. Lighter and DIN plugs.. Holes in the bulkhead are usu. there and you'd need 2 wires to make is work.
  12. Interesting ! But I have to look into it as the engine bay in the 300 Tdi is not "standard..." Awaiting the PM..
  13. Looking very, very good ! Yes, there is a reason why those "by the side of the road assistance trucks" ave serious tools and air with them... You were actually lucky - we have been using hydraulic splitters to remove wheels from axles.... Keep them coming, please..
  14. Good progress ! Interesting to see where this takes you. I'll be doing the aluminum lift roof section this Winter (me hopes)
  15. Seems to be working fine. Thank you - and all those with you invisible to us - for making this forum work !
  16. Let 's assume they're on holiday.... But yes, in general it is not a good sign.
  17. OK - I understand now. Ask them, I suppose is the easiest way...
  18. As you all know : Me foreigner Me no speak English Me speak flat land language
  19. Thank you ! ".. you can even patronise him .." Hmmm..... Not sure about that.
  20. Not sure what you mean.... I have the roofs here side by side and have swapped them en did not notice a different profile / shape. One would guess that that roof section you're talking about should fit, esp. as the Series roof always has ribs and the 110 also had a smooth roof option what makes kitting the thing in much easier.. I have bought a spare - smooth - 110 roof a few weeks ago to use for my 110 as it makes it all much easier. Not to mention that that roof does not have Alpine windows or a sun roof... Bon Courage !
  21. His Shop ? did I miss something.... can we sponsor a fellow forum member..
