steve b
Just think of it as a faulty wire feed circuit on a welding plant.... .....now do you cut the red wire or the blue one? (copyright=numerous films) Steve

I actually think that rightness is apparent everywhere - for example those diffs were modified to hell and back, but yet they ended up looking factory made. There was a point in their making where I thought ‘these will be hard to get to look good’ - 25 minutes of Stephen later (100 hours later on my labour times) and it’s looking like Mercedes made it that way. Remarkable. 3

Stellaghost
Here goes first question, pins have snapped off one of my lucas relays it is a 6ra 33258e 12v 2473 Would a lucas srb131 6ra 33258 12v 1405 do the job Alternatively if anyone has a spare that I could buy would be great TIA regards Stephen
elbekko
Looking at it here: https://www.autoelectricalspares.co.uk/lucas-srb131-33258-6ra-12v-relay-2242-p.asp That seems to just be a regular 4-pin relay, in a different form. So might be worth upgrading to a more modern style of relay and holder? Stellaghost
The good Had Sid turning over today although lights etc are still to wire up The Idiot Could not get diesel system bled through, since found out it helps if there is diesel in the tank !!! The bad Put diesel in the tank only to find my lift pump is not lifting, new one ordered, so unfortunately Sid will not breathe this weekend although he did have a little rumble Overall quite happy, also soldered pin back onto relay Regards Stephen

I have gone much further than this before realising there was no fuel. Sender had got hung up on the tank and showing 1/3 full, various symptoms of low on power, running poorly and then fine again, changed the lift pump and had thought the new one was also duff until I realised the tank was basically dry Sounds like good progress though
muddy
Bit of rag round the air blower into the tank neck with the bleed screw open should bleed it up, once its bled it won't need the lift pump to move about. 1
