Having spent a significant amount of time dropping molten metal on myself underneath rusty 110's over the last few years I am very envious of your chassis turning set up! :) 

 

BTW, I assume that is the V block from your press.... otherwise that is some serious overkill on the bracket! ;)

That is correct, although it's not the only one, just happened to be in easy reach lol regards Stephen

luck was in found a piece of pipe perfect for spring retaining ring

Don't be silly Ed the new Defender only goes to Bond spec...

This Lightweight is "Nuke" spec.............

Well standard chassis is 1.6mm and my 6x6 HD chassis is 3mm...

What thickness are your spring hangers?  my lightweight ones are 3mm hence why I decided to take it up a notch regards Stephen
