Stellaghost
A question for you learned gentlemen Where can I purchase bottom shock mounts for my fox shock absorbers, I would imagine they are just purpose made clevises, I could make them right enough and will if they are silly price, might save me a wee bit time is what I'm thinking regards Stephen
landroversforever
Being the kind of shocks they are, you can buy universal mounts, but with your skill and vision you're probably better off making them Stephen. I can also imagine no matter what you adjusting any off the shelf items anyway! That said, they're not expensive: https://armoury-parts.com/collections/brackets/products/1-25-shock-mount
dangerous doug
I never thought I would see anything about bracket buying on this thread😂 RAC do a clevis for shocks…..I have them, don’t recommend. They’re not bad per se but @landroversforever knows how strongly I feel about their parts and I think shares some of the sentiment. But if they save you half a day of messing around then go for it. It’s literally a piece of 6mm steel folded into a clevis with 3 holes drilled so I’m sure you’ll be able to make something better before the morning coffee

Popular Post Stellaghost
On 4/4/2022 at 7:15 PM, Stellaghost said: So got my results from scan today Unfortunately not the best of news My first scan also revealed a nodule on my right lung but was no cause for concern as plenty people have them and are harmless ! Mine has grown by 2mm and now has a friend starting in my left lung.........hmmmm that's not good So it may of spread, but lymph nodes are clear, it could be another type of cancer or it could be something else so my consultant tells me, but because I've already had a cancer diagnosis they are concerned and also puzzled So bloods taken for some sort of cancer cell count thingy can't remember what he said, then discussion next week to see where to go. If bloods are clear they will leave it for another three month and re-measure, if not clear they are talking surgery to remove and if cancer more treatment, deep joy and happiness Thanks for allowing me to burden you guys, that's a bit of a weight off So mog axles, going to have to get a bloody move on or they will never get done, well this year at least ............lol regards Stephen Remember this.. Well had another consultation today and saw the top dog, so he is very happy and told me they have no concerns after discussions with colleagues from other departments and apologised for this information not being relayed after the meeting. His junior at my last consultation got a bit ahead of himself !!!!! So I have a scan in September and if results have not changed significantly that will be my last scan, after that it's just blood tests. Apparently these nodules can come and go , grow, and shrink etc So all in all good news for me to share with you guys regards Stephen 15

MECCANO
So I'm guessing from the level of reinforcement going into this chassis, you wouldn't recommend some one bolting portals to standard chassis, even if it's new?
