That car looks really cool!  It ought to be Electric though 🙂.

The original US version we borrowed the design from did build an electric version. The car it's self is still sat in his garage a rear suspension problem made it un-driveable and he lost interest unfortunately. I suspect one day I'll end up doing something with it.

Glued on with copious amounts of sikaflex.

Job done.

Hopefully it'll help but if it doesn't I think it looks better anyway.

It matches the bottem on the back. Very nice!

Can't go any lower without major impact to top bunk and toilet area. Bear in mind the lower edge of the angled part is only around 200mm above the roof of the ibex and probably inline with the roof rack on the 110.

240v electrics fitted the other day. Commando socket mounted under the front with a consumer unit inside under the lower bunk. Breakers for socket, charger and emersion plus RCD.

Cables still to be clipped up yet.

Today I fitted some stainless rails to protect the solar panels from overhanging trees. Also fitted the solar panel (will add a second, possibly a third when finance's allow) complete with scanstrut gland for the cable.

Alterations to the panel by the switches. Basically just two cave lockers to create somewhere to put phone/tablets etc while on charge.

Another thing that's been annoying me is that I made the bed frame to wide and didn't allow for the window frame. I've cut 50mm off the bed frame and extended the support on the wall.

Also made some overhead lockers to go above my bed this also covers the aluminium door frame from the original roller shutter door. We had a little condensation on this at Silverstone so I wanted to cover/insulate it.

Ready to be fitted.
