Try Criminal damage OR at the very least attempted criminal damage by wheel spinning on purpose, trying to cover other vehicles with mud and stones etc, Then you could try "reckless driving" (it is a public highway remember) etc etc. According to the strict letter of the (British) law, it is a prosecutable offence to drive recklessly in your own private garden or field! Forget the ZF pump and fit a propper pump on a PTO, you will probably do it later anyway so better off doing it straight away. You will not regret it, I use the ZF as well actually to enable me to winch in gear without the wheels moving, i.e. to take up strain etc without the need to move the transfer in and out of gear. For anything but the odd recovery the ZF is painfully slow, but a strong setup if you have time. Regards, Lara.

Mine never reaches 90 deg, only sits at 1/4 to a 1/3 scale maximum, Measured it at 50 to 60 degrees, not worried as I would rather have a good reserve although in winter it would be nice Lara.

Did you see the experiment they did on Braniac regarding the Carioles effect? The surprising result, Water swirls in both directions in both hemispheres! The Carioles effect did influence the direction of rotation but the flow characteristics of the plughole or toilet basin or hole in the ground etc influenced the rotation more and the water followed the easiest route and rotated in the corresponding direction. Have just voted for the Rover V8, a, it is already fitted so no messing in that department, b, it is a good light unit, c, If you think that JE Engineering do all of Bowlers engines with no probs, why shouldn't you, d, sounds great, e, go 4.6 and rev it less for the same power and more Torque f, fit it to an auto box at the same time and you will be in heaven. g, Deisels are great but they sound 5hit compared to a V8 h, The sound i, THE SOUND Lara Think my next project will also be V8

Will, If the dog ring is out of engagement then it can only be one of two things, 1. Siezed input/output shafts locking one or both of them to the diff case. 2. F----d diff unit Either way you will have to strip the box. Good luck. Lara.
