  1. Oh Oh..... Think we all have been there... Good Hunting !
  2. Not sure it is a state secret - but I do know that ventilation of the tank - lack of - that causes blow back air pressure very, very often causes the nozzle to stop as they are very, very sensitive.
  3. All down to your own really. Although I have great admiration for those who restore to factory spec, it is not for me. I, we as the Mrs. does the spraying, build to use and stop corrosion as much as I can. The Series is in the workshop for the last stage on the - hopefully - last rebuild and it is totally not as it left the factory. But it will not rust, have good brakes, nice engine and working electrics. If you're happy with what you do it is good.
  4. Impessice !!!! Really well done. Envious of your welding skills...

  10. Well, from 19/03/2019 you can do whatever you want. Hope you get somewhat laxer regulations but here on the Continent...
  11. Get the best flare tool you can afford - brakes are kind of vital.. ...and people will find you once they hear you can make hydraulics....
  12. Why not make them yourself ? Flare tool is not expensive and you get to make the 100 % correct. We did on several vehicles and it is just a matter of doing a few and it becomes quite easy..
  13. Shroud is a great help for the fan. We never had a 300 Tdi overheat if all is working as it should.
  14. No idea. We have the old stuff. On / Off Thermostat and pump.
  15. Electric is obviously an option - and you'd only need 1 motor as it has a diff and it is a skid steer... Electric.....
  16. " a Koehler argocat engine on eBay " - yes, thanks, I've seen that one and not sure if that is worth the energy... Not to mention cost. Don't mind the travelling - but it must be worth it
