The differences

20240521_155508.thumb.jpg.5735597d8177d4ddb6e74e5e93814535.jpg

Original 20" mogrover wheels and tyre  not quite an 1 1/2"

20240521_155853.thumb.jpg.bfe4d037277369a3530f0deb07b3c03c.jpg

40" tyre and rim pre modification, not quite 7 1/2"

20240521_155650.thumb.jpg.d28682d3c3dfe80a05cda3f9561873c1.jpg

modified rim minus tyre, 3 1/2"

20240521_155723.thumb.jpg.def6a649398c6786a5278733aed21715.jpg

once tyre is fitted I think it will take it out another 1"

so my total width will come down from 12" extra to 6" extra, I  think I can live with that

A couple of comparison shots, the mogrovers look more standard, however I do like the look of the new rims

Although my decision counts for nothing, I'm biased due to making both sets....lol

I think we stopped asking about weight a while ago ...

It's just, the 35's on my 109 are with the rim are 44 kg a piece.  Wondered what this combo would be like.

Wheel temporarily in position from the pictures it does look slightly better although it does not seem like much for the work involved

The inner rim shows that the wheel has been moved in 3" though

Looks like a worthwhile effort to change ration to me!

What does that make the overall width now Stephen?

Around 80" Ross
