Jocklandjohn
I've seen some clever stuff in Land Rover conversions but this is pretty special.
Scotts90
To be home built makes it even more impressive.
Eightpot
Looks blinking heavy as it drove down that track..
Lightning
Very impressive design work and looks well built too. l assume the suspension etc has been modified to cope with the extra weight and l would guess the engine has been upgraded as well. Jocklandjohn
As 8pot noted - it 'wobbles' so its definitely got some weight there, but I guess the builder's long experience will have informed his choice of suspension etc. The clever design keeps the weight low(ish) though so its spot on in that regard. I just watched another video of a self-built 4x4 camper with loads of stuff on it up high and its ability to cope with even a modest camber was seriously compromised. I think this one gets it pretty much 'right' - fill the 'empty' space you carry around with usable 'space' and multi-function that space wherever possible, the shower/toilet/seating being a great example. Anderzander
That’s amazing - what do you think powers the body moving? It sounds electric - but they must be pretty chunky motors in that case.
ianmayco68
That’s well smart, there’s a lot of thought gone into that .

ballcock
Excellent example of making the most of space whilst not needing it.
FridgeFreezer
Very neat, although all those automated moving parts make me think there's a tad more weight & complexity than I'd want on an overlander. Looks solid & practical though.

I'm guessing you can't put the baby in the back whilst driving as it all folds in on itself
