roguevogue
I've been working late into the night so I haven't had time to upload pictures so here are a selection from the last couple of days. Cleaning the old brackets off the axles. Rear axle and winch mount. If in doubt get an expert to help! Positioning the Vitara bulkhead on the chassis to get a good seating position. gruntus
I am truly envious of your workshop! It beats my single garage which is like working in a cupboard. I am also truly impressed with your fabrication and solid effort as well! What are your timescales for having it finished? And more importantly what colour will it be finished in ? cheers G

roguevogue
I started with the hoop, one continuous piece of CDS of course. Frame taking shape with bonnet placed for effect. The complete frame with tunnel, needs rear bulkhead next.

will_warne
Looking good, Nick. The design is simple and it should be nice and light. Tube work is great - you start off with a lot of straight lengths and very quickly you get something that looks like a car.
GBMUD
you start off with a lot of straight lengths and very quickly you get something that looks like a car. Therein lies a lesson Will. Are you planning a week off any time soon? Chris
roguevogue
I seperated the chassis and cage for painting, I really appreciate the use of a forklift! Painted seperately then welded back together permanently. Then add some inner wing panels.
