I did the dipper arm ram on my mini digger. Took the ram apart and took it to the local bearing/engineering suppliers who ordered me in the correct seals. It wasn’t a hard job, biggest problem was cracking the nut on the ram itself. It took a blow torch and a 3/4 breaker bar with a tube on it.
I’ve got a Bobcat mini digger that the seals on one of the rams has started to leak.
Can anyone offer any advice on resealing a hydraulic cylinder, is there anything to watch out for.
Obviously making sure things are clean, are going to be high on the agenda.
Many thanks

they’ve got to be 10 years old and still going strong
12volt led work light and a car battery or I’ve seen an 12volt work light screwed to a spare drill battery charger and all the bits taken out and the prongs used to power the light from a drill battery.
It’s that time again when I need a couple of new tyres.
im currently running 235 85 R 16 STT’s but was thinking of changing to the ST Maxx. They remind me of the old BFG Trac Edge.
Is anyone running a set and how do you rate them. I spend most of my time on road but do tow large trailers across fields.
cheers
Martin
I've got to pairs of these from Halfords
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_175953_langId_-1_categoryId_165719
I have cut the ends off one set & put Anderson Connectors on & cut the other set a meter back from the end & put on another couple of Andersons. This gives me 9 Mtrs of lead that I can use in different combinations.
Ive used these for Jump Starting a fiends Horse Lorry.
