  1. not defending the blue box but i suspect the reason you bought britpart was due to the price,pays your money takes your chances i'me afraid.
  2. no it won,t slip straight in,chassis mounts are wrong,it came be made to fit though.
  3. my old transit(52 plate)had aknackered dmf,felt like engine mount had split when it was idleing.
  4. looks like a good approach to take,very robust chassis and running gear,should be good.
  5. i have an 18v dewalt,excellent in my opinion,also have a 240 volt makita which is 20 years old and still works well.
  6. i worked for a plant hire company running upwards of 1000 jcb telehandlers,the blue grease supplied by jcb is supposed to be non hardening,as it is used in all the pivot points,well thats if they bothered to drill the holes in the pivot points at the factory!
  7. i have done several tdi conversions,if you are interested i have a spare 200 tdi engine which i could fit to your 90,i have my own 90 converted to 300 tdi if you want to look at my work,i am also in the process of fitting a 300 in my 110.i am in felixstowe suffolk,75 minutes from j28 of m25.

  9. i spent hours making shadow boards in the raf,tedious,and very time consuming,tool chest for me now,a large beta one,worked very well when i was mobile plant fitting.
  10. if you don,t find anything local to you try east anglian bearings in ipswich,we use them at work and they have never failed us.
  11. the rac msa are so far behind fia regs in rally cars that they are introducing draconian measures from january 1 2012,many to do with roll cages,many to do with modifying fwd to rwd body shells,has rendered many perfectly good cars unusable,google andy burton 306,the car can no longer be used.
  12. go on the racmsa website for blue book spec.fia is found in the yellow book,do you know any one who builds rally cars in denmark?they should point you in the direction of the yellow book.

  14. with the price second hand bits are making most bits will probably be used to "refurb" an older truck then end up on ebay for sale.
  15. appreciate that mate,used to live in longford!could you not replace the spark arrester witha straight pipe?looking at your pic i recon a 2.5 diesel front silencer will fit,who do you get yor parts from?
  16. i have a snap on digital one,had it for 20 years,they do come up secondhand on ebay.
  17. very surprided at this as i have used arp kits in big bhp cosworth and vauxhall xe engines,never ever heard of a problem with their kits.
  18. i have a set of hakook dyna pro ata,s on my 90,very impressed,very good price too off fleabay.
  19. lucas rist did the original 90/110 looms,not sure about discovery onwards.
  20. living in felixstowe and knowing how many rrs and vouges get exported each week through the port the concept shown will no doubt sell,if it safeguards jobs and secures export orders then it is no bad thing,i have owned various lr products for the last twenty years currently both a 110 and a 90 and yes i think it is time to move into the 21st century.
  21. i went over to the darkdide 5 years ago,nissan patrol 4.2 diesel.wow,fantastic,3 weeks later sold it bought another discovery,loved the engine though.
  22. used to use it in tele handler wheels before going out first time on hire,i rate it highly,can,t remeber the name of the product though.
